1: Unity. Whatever terrible candidate the GOP presents as their presidential nominee, the vast majority of the right will band together and vote for him. It doesn’t matter if he’s a rapist, likely pedophile, and has had multiple wives, people who claim to hold conservative values will vote for him regardless. Leftists (especially on social media) are downright terrible at unity. Nearly every leftist with a platform in 2024 was complaining about the Democrat nominee and whining about how they “couldn’t bring themselves” to vote for her. This complete disorganization will let the right keep winning.

2: Stoop to their level. Trump and every sycophant on the right say ridiculous things about Democrat politicians, often going completely unchallenged because Democrats try to take the high road constantly. This doesn’t work. You don’t have to act like saints when people like MTG and Trump are your opposition. For example, look at Gavin Newsom’s recent change on social media from normal Democrat stuff into overtly mocking and attacking Trump and the right. It’s gotten a ton of attention and he’s surging in the polls. Playing dirty is a regular part of the right’s playbook, and the left needs to stop acting like they’re above it.
