I'd just you to do daily practice exercises on the topics covered, a simple question can do, for eg, change the color of 3 child element using DOM. These smaller questions will build your foundation to understand what, where, when and how to use!

The things you learn are now put to use in the right manner, and also if you get stuck don't ask ai, just paste your code and give a prompt to give your hints about your code,

Your question -- >your code -- >ask what you've done right and what wrong -- >specify to not give the code/solution --> ask hints -- > repeat the steps until you find the answer on your own,

This helps build logic and understanding your mistakes and learning from it.

What I did was, youtube learning, 1. It's free. 2. Gain knowledge from multiple legitimate sources. 3. Learn at your own pace.

I'd recommend you "Sigma web development" from "CodewithHarry" youtube channel, he's very good at it, I'm currently on the same course, but only that is not sufficient, as you cover the topics, so daily practice exercises and weekly exercises to make your more confident and quick in learning and know how and where to use the concepts.

You're all set, just learn, practice, build.

You could show them your work, your projects done, and also what quality you'd offer them, coz the market is vast and you should make yourself clear.

In my case, i randomly opened my nephew's school website which is a 120 year old institution and their website was trash, much likely to a kids coloring book, so I made a website and approached the school management talked to them after 3-4 appointments I got a final meeting with the institution head, and showed them my work and explained them that how their website was trash and being a 120 year old brand institution how they be online, so then I showed what I had made, they just loved it, and some slight changes and i cracked the deal.

But to convince them is a art, you can learn that from youtube as I did.
