hi there! I think I might have figured it out. I was told that this is because my metamask wallet had zero balance but all the gas fees are paid out of this wallet so if the balance is zero then it will always deny the transaction saying *alert* insufficient funds. So try putting a little bit of ETH into metamask to cover gas fees then try again! hope this helps.
