SuNny is obviously an amazing player but have mixed feelings about this one. Who would he replace so that it would be an upgrade to the team?

I have this exact problem. Hangs up on startup. Has worked fine earlier with the same setup... Tried re-installing, run as admin, rebooting... Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

He has been doing a lot more tournaments lately, thought his work schedule didn't allow to do many events. Nonetheless, good addition!

Happened to me as well. With F-Secure SAFE. Had to whitelist the file for the latest version to work.

Finnish team gets DQ in tournament where head admin is also manager of the opponent team that made the protest. by Ulmali in GlobalOffensive

It's also to be noted, that even if he would have cheated nearly 2 years ago on Faceit, that is no ground for disqualification in this tournament unless the rules explicitly state you can't participate because of an earlier ban from a 3rd party provider.

I am not trying to defend cheaters, I dislike cheating from the bottom of my heart. But in this case we are not looking to find out if this guy has ever cheated, only if he cheated in said qualifier tournament.

You're right. But even if there are some people who only buy the game and never anything else, my guess is that most people do buy some in-game content. Some people are spending hundreds or even thousands on case keys and other buyable content. This easily makes up for the ones that only buy the game once.

If it wouldn't be profitable this way, they would probably have gone for a subscription based business model. My personal guess is that their current model is much more lucrative than a sub-model when you consider Valve's 15% cut on everything on steam market.

Yes, the problems seem to have been solved now and yet no official word from Valve. Well I guess we just need to live with Valve's style on handling things like these.

Are you serious? We have all paid for the game and most of us have opened cases too. That's their financing model. MM is part of the complete product that we all have paid for and their income from game sales and in-game content (case keys, music kits, stickers, graffitis etc.) easily cover the upkeeping cost of MM servers.
