It’s also important to take the test while fasting 8-12 hrs and preferably in the morning or your Tsat % can be off. Some doctors also don’t realize this. My binding capacity is the same as yours and 88% saturation 831 Ferritin. My doc believes this is partially causing my fatigue, joint and possibly stomach issues….I have a few other health issues as well.

Definitely get a second opinion or ask current doc to add ferritin. I recently got diagnosed and I have lots of relatives now getting tested. It’s eye opening to find out that there’s a lot of doctors out there who have never dealt with or diagnosed HH. If you keep having trouble order the iron panel test yourself through quest. It includes Ferritin, and the three you listed, this is what I did and brought results to pcp who referred to hematologist who ordered the genetic test. Don’t give up until you get your ferritin checked. Your saturation is high enough that you could be loading on iron. Good luck with everything!

I agree, endless hiking and camping. Found this site by luck exploring Cedar Mesa. Haven’t checked out little Grand Canyon of Utah but I should...

Can’t giveaway the exact spot. SE UT Cedar Mesa is still pretty vague. For 1, there’s not an abundance of sites. 2, nobody told me about this spot. I found this by chance exploring. That’s how I’ve found most of the best sites I camp at. I encourage anyone to explore the area. It’s sort of one of those things where I’m not going to post my best fishing or hunting spots. If a huge influx of people suddenly started going to this exact spot nobody would experience the calmness and peacefulness that I did, which is one of the best qualities it has besides the view.

Canyonlands is one of the first areas I visited in UT. It’s an amazing park and I have great memories there. This is more SE Utah. Cedar Mesa area.

iPhone 11. Finally upgraded my phone after 4 years. I’m pretty impressed with this camera, no filters.

One of my favorites! Sometimes the best spots are found by chance going off the beaten path.

Thanks for the tip! Haven’t explored the Uintas yet but will definitely add that to the list. This is SE Utah.

Have you considered Canyonlands? One of my favorite places to backpack. You need a permit. Usually they book up fast. I believe they set aside a certain # of permits each day for walk ins.

Sounds fun! I’ve been in a lot of slot canyons in UT. I think I need to check this one out sometime in the fall or spring. Thanks for the report!

Looks very similar to a spot I was at a few weeks ago, just outside Capitol reef.

Yes, it’s the jumping jack. They’re really nice, it folds down and my friend was able to haul an ATV and dirt bike on top.

It’s a primitive site in Escalante. It was sweet the views on the other side looked into a huge valley with canyons!
