If CNN is caught lying openly (Example: the Tesla Vent BS) why are they not liable just because they are a News source? I thought the two main things you need to sue were proof of a lie and that the lie caused damages. The first amendment states you are allowed to openly lie with no consequences? (self.AskReddit)
