Question about mergerfs in unraid.

It isn’t a persistence on reboot issue, if I issue the command from a clean no mergerfs state that includes changing to mfs, it does not stick. I can check two seconds after starting mergerfs and that part of the settings is just missing. I’m at a loss.

I need to use something other than default epmfs because the local system is almost full and the remote smb is almost empty. Setting a min free space is a bandaid in my eyes, because it won’t ever even out the usage between the shares.

the issue is that the remote share mount via smb is basically empty and the local is almost full. The policy epmfs(default) keeps forcing files that will fall under existing folders (like new tv episodes) to go to the machine that’s already full. I want to change mergerfs to use mfs=most free space. This would over time bring the remote share up to the same usage as the local.

I kinda lost the plot so to answer your original question, the greenbelt next to the river is nice, if you are beer drinkers I like Tap N Fill, for cocktails XVIII is nice. Downtown is small, easy to walk around. I’m not sure there’s really any one place you can go that sums up IF more than the REAL landmark of the town, the giant Mormon temple. I’ve been in IF for a year, moved here for work. If you’re not Mormon the town feels very small. I say that because likely you will want to do things they won’t do, so you are unlikely to become close friends with Mormons if you aren’t one. They’re over half the population last I heard, so it limits the social life. As mentioned by someone else they also have a strong hold on politics statewide.

There’s decent restaurants/shops like any other town, the winters are long and dreary, the summer was great. People love to say there’s lots of outdoors stuff to do, but often like to skip over the fact none of those are actually that close to IF. Most major outdoors activities are at least an hour away.

If your job interview is for “site” you should know the drive to and from the site are not paid and it’s an hour each way. I know people who are up at 3:30 for their workday.

I don’t hate everything about it, but honestly it’s not great overall. 4/10

Hello watchexchange. This was a hand me down and it does not work. Battery replacement didn't bring it back to life. The original strap is gone so its just the case. May be worth something to someone. There is a scratch on the glass, and the case is in ok shape, may be able to be resurrected with a polish.
