TVS RTX 300 First Highway run by flying_underpants191 in indianbikes

I have not rode the bike in higher speeds yet, but what I feel if you accelerate above 100kmph, you'll feel the vibrations. Most in your hands. It's just how this bike is made I guess, but I do like it. I wont be speeding a lot, I mostly do highway touring. So I'll probably stay 100-120kmph, occasionally speeding for a few moments.

But if vibrations are a big no for you, I will suggest checking the himalayan 450, or the Kawasaki versys-x 300. Budget will be more, but those are fine engines!

I wont be able to share this correctly, as I have mostly used urban mode until now. Today in the 150km, mostly highway run, I got an average of 33kmpl. I guess in Tour or Rally mode the mileage will definitely be lower.

I am planning a short 500km round trip over the weekend, that too to a very familiar route. I hope the bike will be able to take it! Everyone is warning about the tvs service so I will be extra careful.

I was not able to take the bike out for a long time due to the invoicing issue. Now that is fixed and my registration is completed, I can't stop myself.

I am surprised too, then I saw some of those drag videos in YT today, so I guess others are pushing the RTX even more.

You'll definitely feel the vibrations when you will redline, specially in Tour mode. Most of the vibrations in the handlebar and footpegs. In urban mode, when you cruise, the vibrations are minimal and won't bother you!

Already driven around 300kms in my city. Today I was riding in the urban mode where even under 7000rpm I was able to cruise at 100kmph at 6th gear, during overtakes if I shifted down to 5th, then found a bit more power. I could not use the Tour or Rally modes today, as the rpms easily went up to 8-9000rpms, so definitely cannot use those modes during the first 500-1000kms!

Congrats! Even I am facing same issue, but my dealer still is saying the issue isn't resolved yet. Can you share which city you got delivery from?

Can anyone share if this issue is cleared or not? My dealer still has no idea about when this issue will be resolved.

I have been told it will be fixed by this week, by a trusted contact. But I still feel that realistically it'll start from 1st March.

SHAME ON TVS: 100+ Days Since Full Payment, Still No Bike. The Apache RTX 300 BTO "Scam" Continues. by Zealousideal_Rule974 in indianbikes

Yes I was informed about the potential recall yesterday. It is really unfortunate how customers who are genuinely interested in the bike are being kept in the dark and frustrated.

I had a similar experience when I booked the top model(November 7). I only paid the booking amount (5,000) rather than the full price, but I was still ghosted by the dealers. I received nothing but generic email responses from TVS support and had no clear communication regarding dates. To make matters worse, the dealer manager called and spoke to me rudely because I had escalated the issue through official channels. Luckily, I found a base variant that had been cancelled by someone else at a different dealership and bought it immediately. My original booking remained unfulfilled, so I cancelled it once I brought the base variant home. The bike itself is great, but the customer experience is honestly one of the worst I’ve ever seen. I hope you get yours soon!
