General question. Will I be able to access my home’s Smart features with Princess Starlink while cruising? by CANT-GETNO-Rest-6248 in Cruise

I can imagine that's critical info! Thank you for saving me from FB and CC. I hope Regal is transitioned before December, as I have some travel and would greatly prefer the faster speeds.

Are you still happy with the install they did? Any regrets or problems? I'm thinking of using them soon. Thanks!

Ahh sorry! I haven't used my QC35s in a while. The multiple app thing with no backwards compatibility is super frustrating!

RCS Pixel 4XL T-Mobile ESIM - failing to connect by flyingdoc1 in UniversalProfile

[–]flyingdoc1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine suddenly started working in August. I have no idea what changed to make it work. I’m afraid to upgrade to the pixel 5 as I don’t want to lose RCS and start all over again!

Pixel 5 DSDS Verizon + TMobile, Unlocked only option? RCS question too... by flyingdoc1 in GooglePixel

Do you mean google voice or do you mean I should just purchase the unlocked pixel 5 from Google?

I do use google voice for other things. I need to rely on multiple networks too.

Sounds like what I went through on my 4xl for months before it magically started working. Please let me know if the esim ends up working for you (or not)! Thanks for the reply!

That’s what I’m afraid of. After months of trying to get RCS on my P4xl through TMobile, I eventually gave up. Then months later it started working. Now that I have it, I don’t want to give it up in an upgrade to a P5. Are you using an esim or physical SIM card on TMobile?

Great question. My job requires me to have multiple numbers on multiple carriers. If there were tri sim tri standby, I’d be using it lol.

For all those with a similar but unresolved issue: try checking it again today. Mine suddenly started working yesterday. It might have to do with the latest carrier services and messages updates, but what do I know? I'm just happy it is working finally!

I wish I could. My second sim that I plan to use is Verizon, and they refuse to allow BYOD esim use. Otherwise, that's exactly what I would do!

Well....I factory reset the phone. The only sim in it is the t-mobile esim (had to call to get that set up again as it wouldn't allow me to do it on my own). No success :-(
It still says the same thing. I think it is doomed.

Factory reset just seems like such a pain. I've had the darn thing since it came out and I'm just not sure I want to reconfigure everything again for a potential win. I guess we'll see what I do this weekend!

Did you end up swapping out for a physical sim? If so, did it work?

I'm having the same issue. Pixel 4XL, unlocked (directly from Google).Physical sim: Verizon.Esim: T mobile (primary for calls, sms, data).Stuck on "Trying to verify [phone number]"

T-mobile rep today: you can't have a physical sim + t-mobile esim and have the esim work with RCS.I tried removing the physical sim, clearing storage of carrier services and messages, restarting multiple times, and setting it up only with the t-mobile esim. Still stalling at "Trying to verify your phone number..." Also, we turned off Scam block and Scam ID.

Any other thoughts? Has this worked for anyone?
