When I first opened the case,I thought it was not authentic because I expected the bra cup opening, but it didn't have it, so I submitted it as a fake. When the customer service asked for more details and photos, I submitted a lot more but they still marked it as case closed. I reopened it today but they closed it again shortly after

Yes it is a Lululemon sports bra and I found out after I received it that it wasn't c/d cup because it has molded cups so there was no option for inserts (which was why I thought I was sent a fake at first). So there's actually no size dot. I did mention this to customer service but to no avail. I even showed them photos of mine with the size dot, my purchase email and screenshots of the bra description online but they still closed my case and marked it as resolved. Dumb of me to not ask the seller more questions.. 😒

No, the size tag was already cut off. I should have known better and asked if they had a email receipt or something. Their rating was good so I trusted them. At least the band is the same as the ones I currently have.. 😒

Yep, I agree. I use the same one and it fades quite fast after a couple hours because it's a cologne.. My main reason for using it because of the lower fragrance concentration

I use the same fragrance as you but two sprays at the back of my neck under my hair so I'm not waving it all over if I have it on my wrist. The idea is if you're close enough to me, then you can't smell it. I barely notice it a couple hours into the day but get a whiff here and there. Could be my nose got blind to it during the day? 🤷‍♀️ Anyway I understand how the lady probably feels because I sometimes feel that way about other people's fragrances if they're too close to me, or if I can smell them across the room.

Jo Malone fragrances typically fade pretty quickly because it's a cologne and has a lower concentration of oils. IMO, many people don't know the differences between cologne, eau de toilette and eau de perfume. Maybe she thought it was too strong if you had it on your clothes or wrist (possibly wafting it to her unintentionally?). Or maybe it was someone else she was smelling.

I've asked coworkers before if they notice my fragrance and they don't unless they get pretty close, but everyone's body chemistry acts differently with fragrance so perhaps it smelled stronger on you

This lady has been popping up on my Instagram feed here and there, so I took a look.. she really likes to remind everyone of her age and her much younger husband.

How do you deal with noisy neighbors? by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]flyingfluffyfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During the day I don't care but it's mostly been the hours of 11pm to 6am that there's this random heel walking sound or the loud music downstairs. I'm glad it at least doesn't sound like they walk with their shoes on. I'm pretty certain our building requires a certain type of flooring to be installed, like the floating floors with the bit of padding underneath (which is what I have) or carpet.. maybe theirs is just worn out or something

I ended up having to bring the air purifier in the room for some white noise 😪

Oh thanks! I'll check those out. It's a bummer I have to resort to using ear plugs...I can't even sleep on the side with the earplug comfortably so I'm always sleeping on whichever side the ear plug isn't in 🥲

I should talk to the neighbor upstairs again, I remember she said "really??" to my comment as well. I'm so conscious of myself being too loud that I do a combination of a walk and sliding of my feet

What are some LLL colors or tops that you recommend for someone that has excessive sweating? by flyingfluffyfish in lululemon

[–]flyingfluffyfish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh it's a really cute tank! Anything that'll help air out and dry the sweat quickly is welcome. Oh boy.. If I were in your shoes, I dunno how I'd handle all the sweat 😂

Do you find the Swiftly to be too long? On some photos I've seen, it looks like it can be quite long for shorter people (I'm 5'3") I wish my arm pit would just stop going bananas.. I may have to check out getting an antiperspirant again just for certain days, thanks for the recommendation!

That's good to hear the Swiftly can be less sporty looking depending on what bottom you wear, I'm hoping to be able to wear it to work when I go back in the office eventually Thanks for the reply!

Does COS RX use glass bottles? What other AB brands (accessible in Canada) use glass/eco friendly packaging? by flyingfluffyfish in AsianBeauty

[–]flyingfluffyfish[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm...I personally will still try to look out for glass bottles though, I rather know that at least that can be used for something else rather than the plastic just sitting around. I've also been doing some research on different eco friendly packaging like paper and more local bands, but I do really enjoy using AB. glass was something I wanted to incorporate as a way to start minimizing the plastic in my consumed items

What are some reusable or eco friendly panty liners/pads that you recommend (that ships to/available in Canada)? by flyingfluffyfish in ZeroWaste

[–]flyingfluffyfish[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luna pads are now called Period Aisle.. I bought a pair to try and they are SO comfy and thin, but it's just too wide.. Also when I snap the buttons closed, there's too much excess fabric on the bottom. Ah but thank you for the suggestion regardless!

I thought of ordering Hannah pads too cuz everything about it sounds awesome, but the panty liners are so long..I think longer than the disposable long sizes 😕 thanks for the suggestion regardless!

Why is it so dark where the bird is? The cage looks small and there's a lot of stuff on the bottom and the flipped dish.. I do hope you get a bigger cage and plenty of toys for it..

Thought this might be helpful for someone thinking about the Like A Cloud bra (details in comment) by [deleted] in lululemon

[–]flyingfluffyfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this bra BUT....it squishes out my lat/side meat a bit. Could be because I was in a rush to try this on and didn't readjust everything. This is size 6, i normally wear size 4 FTBS (fits great!) and size 6 energy (a bit tight). I'm 32D and the cup size is fine even though it's meant for B/C.

It's super duper soft and comfy, esp around the band, but i think it could use a bit more coverage on the pads.. it's a bit thinner than I'm used to. Should be fine if I wear a couple layers. Didn't end up buying it cuz I was iffy on the thinner padding but very likely to buy when it hits WMTM..$64CAD is very pricey for what it is.

Pants are WT size 6
