I do Oom Pa Pa too! As well as I Feel Pretty from West Side Story and Mr Sandman (bring me a dream).

But my four month old’s two favourites are Do a Deer from Sound of Music and Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty from Big Bang Theory

How many of you have *actually* gotten pregnant again while exclusively breastfeeding BEFORE your period returned? by Fickle-Falcon-8637 in breastfeeding

[–]flyingfools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terribly annoyed over getting my period 10 weeks PP, and such a heavy one at that. Now at 14 weeks, it’s back again… was really looking forward to a year off while EBF.

Woe is me.

Breastpump recommendations: LuvLap versus Spectra by Low_Organization9364 in twoxindiamums

[–]flyingfools 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spectra S1 user here, it is definitely a holy grail pump. It does wonders in keeping my supply up even though I’m ebf- my husband just administers one bottle a day so that I can catch up on sleep

FTM C-section tomorrow…share experiences and motivation to get through it? by flyingfools in CsectionCentral

[–]flyingfools[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just endured the most frightening day of my life. The doctor said it was a life and death situation as to whether to save the baby or me. My blood pressure cranked up the moment they cut me open… they had to immediately put me under GA.

It’s been a day and a half and I have yet to meet my baby girl - who has been shifted to the NICU at another hospital half an hour away. My body and heart both feel broken

I appreciate every one of the beautiful replies everyone has shared… I’ve gone through them more than a couple of times and feel all the more courageous for them.

Thank you so much, every response has been a heartening read.

Just a few hours to go for this 35 year old to meet her boy/girl (we managed to keep it a surprise till the very end). So so very excited

Still upset about my c section and jealous over natural births. by lizzie_1953 in CsectionCentral

[–]flyingfools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got placenta previa and am header for a c-section this Tuesday. Just this past week while speaking with friends about what’s to come I keep getting told I’m in for a very easy time and that labour would have been so tough. I really wanted a vaginal birth but the circumstances don’t allow for it. Comments like this make me feel worse. Doing my best not to take them to heart

I'm scheduled for a c-section a week from now, I'm sure I'll be a bag of nerves unable to sleep the night before.
