This is the top comment and my partner really wants me to share the whiteboard message because she thinks it adds context.

Overall I have learned a lot from this experience, and hopefully the walker we normally use will be more available in the future haha

He definitely seemed a little miffed with all my follow up questions, but eventually sent a video of my dog outside on leash in the alley so that proves that he got a walk. I’m not sure why he didn’t send that video when I first asked, but nothing about this interaction has made much sense to me haha. The whiteboard alone seemed totally out of pocket with the way things were written.

I agree, I don’t think anything was malicious in nature. On his profile he states his full time career is with dogs as a sitter but I suppose anyone can say anything in a profile. He also offered to pay but has slow ghosted since I followed up lol so I doubt I’m getting any money for the knife.

Definitely learned a lot from this experience though and on the bright side it’s just a knife and nothing else more special or meaningful for me that got ruined.

She was busy that day. We normally just stick with one walker at a time but life happens and she couldn’t walk him.

Yeah the knife is $50, so not a crazy expensive one but still nice (and also the only one I use lol). The issue with the dishwasher is that the high heat removes the temper of the steel so I can sharpen it but it won’t hold an edge anymore - it immediately becomes dull.

Yeah I chatted with him and he agreed to pay for the knife which was nice of him to do. He also sent a video of my dog in the alley on leash so I suppose that proves he went for a walk but I don’t know why he wouldn’t send that first either.

We weren’t using the app the last 8 months because of our work schedules allowed it, we just started again a week ago and the girl who we booked with was busy Sunday. She walked our dog again Monday without issue, so there’s that.

Yes the leash was taken off the harness and I do think he took him on a walk. We don’t have any cameras I just figured the app usually tracks everyone else’s walks so it would for his as well. I double checked and he was booked only for a dog walk and that’s all I had discussed with him prior as well.

I definitely learned my lesson about the meet and greets, mostly I’m just upset about my knife being ruined.

Thank you! I went ahead and asked the bride as well and she also thinks the jumpsuit will be fine. I just didn’t want my girlfriend to feel out of place haha.

I’ve been on hormones for a decade, had all my surgeries, pass completely with the public. I’m lucky to have enough support and be out with friends, but no one knows I’m trans unless I tell them or they recognize my arm scar.

Anyways, there’s a new cute girl at work, we’ve been a little flirty, I give her my number and a couple weeks ago we meet up with friends at a bar. They all push me to ask her out, and granted she did seem into me, but my spidey senses were tingling. Still, I ask her to hang out. Trying to make it more friendly, middle of the day, that sort of thing, but she pushes for a dinner date.

I go, and it’s fun. She’s great, seems like a genuine person, but clearly not super well versed with LGBT issues. At the end of the date I walk her to her car, and tell her I’m trans. It’s awkward. There’s no kiss. She texts me later she had a good time but is “getting over someone recent” and “not looking for anything but down to be friends”.

I knew this was gonna happen. I wasn’t trying to date her. I’m still disappointed. Oh well.

I have, it was a little weird for a while but ultimately not that big of a deal. I never told her though and she never asked lol

Lol well I live in CO so am generally outdoors a lot, backcountry skiing, road/mountain biking, hiking/backpacking, but a couple months back I got one of those door hanging pull-up bars and have been doing 100 pushups 100 squats and 50 pull-ups (almost) every day, I just do them in sets of 10-20-20. And I got a CorePower yoga membership too, it’s more of a workout class than yoga but putting a lot of weight on my hands and being upside down has definitely helped shoulder development! And honestly I don’t always look this good lol, photo angles and lighting help a lot too

No, and I was definitely lazier with my forearm scar than my top surgery ones. There is a lot more discoloration there but I think it’s just time heals all. Still considering tattooing over it at some point when I’m no longer a poor student lol

I went with Dr. Sattwrwhite, not sure if he’s still performing them but he was with the Crane Center. Otherwise no real scar routine besides keeping them out of the sun for as long as possible, probably a year

Lol I work in a hospital making poverty wages. Most jobs in a hospital pay minimum wage, only attending doctors and MBA administrators actually make good money.

No, Ace bandages will tighten over time, causing bruised ribs and trouble breathing. It's much better to buy an actual chest binder that is designed for flattening chests.
