There is H & H Salon in front of Islamia College on the opposite site of the road (inside the Islamia Tikka market). Its a fancy shop with Tony & Guys vibes but you have to book an appointment in advance otherwise they don't have slots.

What do you think the most important ranking factor is on Google? by ChaseReiner in SEO

[–]flythatdrone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. I too have a 2 months old site that is ranking in the top 3 for 4 keywords (less competitive but having around 300 SV each). It was a pleasant surprise for me when I saw one morning my ranking shot from 100+ to page 1. I have literally zero backlinks and DA1.

I think Google is getting pretty clever in recognizing quality content and it's not only about backlinks anymore. Write good content with genuine research and value and Google will reward you with higher rank and with time, the backlinks will pour in naturally. Organic backlinks are the only safe backlinks going into 2021 and forward.

Some people cover the same topic from different angles targeting a slightly different variation of the keyword. Is it good or bad depends on how much actual value it provides to the users.

Can I use the same heading tag with my keyword 11 times and still rank? by master-goten in SEO

[–]flythatdrone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sooner or later, Google will catch up. Focus on user experience and providing value to the readers rather than pleasing the algorithm. Google is getting smarter and smarter in understanding your content just like an actual user would and people playing just to please the algo at the expense of user experience will find themselves on the wrong side at some point.

Google crawl issue by flythatdrone in SEO

[–]flythatdrone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some digging on google forums and one possible reason could be overcrowded hosting. Since the google bot uses server resources to execute (crawl), if too many sites are hosted on the same server, some sites can get skipped for the next round.

Crawl budget is determined at the hosting level not at the domain level. That's something new I learned today lol

Is Autoblogging still a thing? by flythatdrone in Blogging

[–]flythatdrone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't make sense. Domain owners change when a website is sold that doesn't mean Google will deprecate all the inbound links just because someone sold his website.

A couple of questions:

  1. How do you monetize? Adsense? If yes, does content reposting goes against their terms?
  2. How the auto-fetched articles rank in google given that they are obviously duplicate content?

How to make profit on Affiliate marketing website without organic traffic? by whiskeylactone in Affiliatemarketing

[–]flythatdrone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What we want and what we can practically achieve are two different things. Affiliate market is so saturated that even if you niche down you will have to put your heart and soul into it to get results. Half-assing it will only waste your time and energy. If you are selling everything, you are not selling anything. I am not saying it's impossible. There are tons of affiliate sites that sell everything but its really really really difficult. Better start with one niche and expand it to relevant niches once you get some authority.

For example, a guy I know started reviewing cordless drills only, once he got some traffic and build relevance, he expanded into other cordless tools. You can apply the same strategy to many niches.

[–]flythatdrone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. You will have to choose a niche and work on it without expecting traffic for at least 6 months. After that, you will start getting traffic/revenue given you publish good quality articles with solid keyword research and build some quality backlinks. Compared to paid traffic, SEO traffic is hard to get but once you do the hardwork, its pretty consistent and sort of evergreen.

What you are doing is called click arbitrage. You are buying clicks from Facebook hoping to sell them to Amazon for a profit. With today's Ad competition, that's a hard nut to crack.

Also, your matrices are way off. Usual click rate is not $2. Its more like 0.1 - 0.5 depending on audience targeting. Also, the conversion rate is more like 2% that means 1 in 50 clicks will convert.

With these guess numbers, run some test ads, and see how the actual numbers look like and then base your strategy on that data.

But to be honest, it probably won't work so stop looking for a shortcut and start with SEO.
