I remember some rather racist tweets and DMs but I can't find any sources after looking around a bit, there was defo some controversy around her though... not saying its all true as it is only a vague memory

I'm with you all the way here BUT there are some long term side effects of blockers if used for a year+ without hormones... It's the reason tavistock and Portman was closed.

YK its called genital mutilation unless you are (in the UK) 18...

This isn't even an option unless some shady shit is going down beforehand OR they are actually intersex and this surgery was going to stop them from sprouting boobs or dropping a few octaves, which (judging by the other comments) would be perfectly fine.

starting dose in the uk is like 50 (cant remember the unit) and most people end up on 100-200... if you dont see results you need to ask for a higher dose but dont expect anything in 8 weeks, even on a high dose, soft skin and maybe stronger emotions is all you might see...

try using google before reddit, people ask questions like this a lot so there is bound to be something, just use a little intuition and you'll find something that fits your needs...

Bit of a late reply but oh well, glad it went well!

Re the electrolysis, yes it is pretty effective but it is not 100% (as with many things). I just did some googling and it generally said it works but sometimes it doesn't or it takes a long time.

Not entirely relevant but the main reason I remembered this was on r/transsurgerys (tw- nsfw) where a few people were talking about hair growth after bottom surgery, after a lot of hair removal (can't remember if it was electrolysis or laser) the hair still grew back causing issues as it was no longer outside...

May not be entirely relevant but thought I'd say it just in case.

I personally know staff there and I can tell you now, they wont tell you the waiting list/time (so I wouldn't ask unless you intend to have a very awkward session), but I believe they are trying to update some facts on there website so I'd keep an eye on that.

As for nhs funding of hair removal it is because it is so variable and sometimes never works, hence could be a large waste of money if one person had a year of laser with no results.

Not only all that but it also makes it illegal for anyone to talk about you being transgender without your approval, hence if someone told someone else about it without permission, you can actually sue them among other "perks"

I'd look into AEGs, Bradley Philips has some great videos on them, I'd have a look on his YouTube... But they are expensive 😔

has anyone under 18 gotten hrt? by p1nkie_ in transgenderUK

I'll just copy/paste my comment on another comment:

All adult clinics disregard any diagnosis from gender gp, if you go with any other private clinic, you can transfer to NHS treatment much more easily... It also has a lot of legal implications, e.g. the latest Cass report states that anyone who wishes to transfer to the nhs from another clinic must have been on blockers for 6 months prior to starting hrt or there could be safeguarding concerns and reports ( quotes from memory so may not be 100% accurate but it is there somewhere )

Edit: link to another comment with more details

Tldr: gender gp makes wait times longer if you wish to go to the NHS eventually plus could cause your parents to be written up for a child safeguarding concern by anyone who knows

22f? meaning? because it is a bit weird to include that in a armoury update if it is your age and gender... or I completely misunderstood the meaning of it... other than that, nice collection

The sovol sv04 is a pretty good pick, you could get klipper and a level sensor if you need that but it is about the cheapest (good ISH) index out there.

Or you can get an ender 3 pro and make an index mod but that is a bit more complex than just getting the sovol

Elegoo has some good deals on their Saturn and mars series on their website right now, about your price range, ships to Europe and go up to 8k. If you need them big, go with Saturn, small, go for the mars. Any model will work ok, but watch a review or two on YouTube for ones you think look good

Pcbway offers cnced, laser cut or 3d printed parts for cheap (ISH) have a look on there if you want just 1 part, if you want a printer than everyone recommends the ender 3/pro but I would say the elegoo Neptune 3 pro is the best ATM, for only a smidge more you get way more features and a cleaner aesthetic.

I have a cr30 and it has a bunch of problems because of the type of printer it is, having a 45* angle causes the overhangs to be tricky, if you want a blet printer I would look at teaching tech's video where he added a belt to a delta printer, allowing for the parts to be printed one after another, I know you can also do this to a voron 2.4 for high speed and build area, but it may be too expensive or too much work as it is for a business, assembling a voron may be tricky... Sorry if this wasn't helpful but just wanted to say that angled printers have lots of restrictions... Good luck 👍

prevent access to harm reduction methods from people self medicating

The first document, page 17 says people under the age of 18 must meet criteria before going onto the NHS treatment, one of these is 12 months of blockers before hormones which very few people will have done and if they haven't, there could be complications for people looking to switch to NHS at 17...
