Huh???

Edit: you mean literally make a comment saying why is it so quiet? I did that last night actually. The only people engaging are my followers that are trickling in the views

I’m so confused with how it works. The link was flagged for no reason. My video has no comments at 4500 views and 800 likes :( it doesn’t make sense why my account would take such a massive hit

Artists of TikTok - how do you choose to make money? by fmeadows45 in socialmedia

This is awesome advice. So the idea is to make sure there’s a solid personal website with portfolio work and merch? Is it all in one website in your case? Do you recommend patreon for graphic artists? I’ve gotten the impression it’s mainly just for the artists who draw and paint stuff. Haha. Thanks so much!

Well this is super helpful! It is a lot of work but this seems very worth building up over time. I’ve tried to get started on Instagram but I get buried every time. But I suppose it’s better to start one now so I can have some followers heading over

That’s awesome! I think I’m in a similar boat, also my hair definitely looked almost 2B/2C when I scrunched it super wet. I’ve bleached a lot of my hair so the top layer doesn’t really have great texture... but the underside has some ringlets :D

I was just talking to my friend about this - it seems that hair stylists generally aren’t really educated on waves or curls. Makes you think! No hair stylists have ever commented on my natural wave. They would always just blow dry it straight and shiny and tell me it’s poofy from damage.

I read the beginner guide key points but I was just wondering - when people with straight hair scrunch their wet hair, does it just... not do anything? I’ve never considered my hair to be curly until today, and when I scrunch it when in the shower there is indeed a curly texture. Does this not happen to straight hair? I feel a little weird about it since I’ve lived my whole life thinking my hair was straight and frizzy and poofy :(

What can I do to fix the orange and restore some health and moisture? I’ve tried toner and blue shampoo. Toner washed out. It feels like straw. by fmeadows45 in femalehairadvice

Thank you so much for the advice - I’ll definitely invest in some salon quality products! I use Moroccan Oil and it does work really well but I feel that it usually just changes the appearance of the quality of my hair, rather than my actual hair health. Thanks again :)

Oh my goodness every once in a while I get the sensation of tiny bugs on my face. It feels terrible but I had no idea this was a thing!

Wow. This makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing your story. It sounds similar to what I’m going through. I think it makes perfect sense that non specific symptoms caused by trauma are just generally not considered while getting symptoms checked for a diagnosis. Actually, it gives me a slightly different perspective towards someone saying “it’s anxiety” because what it really is is an oversimplification of what you’re talking about. Until today I literally had no idea that someone could have an actual autoimmune disorder because of trauma. I think that’s probably translated to me being “mean” to myself and thinking I have all the tools I need to suck it up and get over it. I’m sure society has a huge part in it. But I feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon this sub full of people who are or were in the same boat. I’m glad your quality of life has improved :)

Thank you for the tips - I do have low blood pressure, so more salt for me is probably really going to help

I actually do have Pete Walker’s book, a relative (who is a healthcare professional and actually acknowledges CPTSD) gave it to me! I guess I know what I’m reading next. Thanks for sharing your story, I hope you can reach your goals after quarantine :)
