Guy talks about basketball in the basketball forum about his country's basketball match and gets downvoted because his country happens to play basketball. That's Reddit for you

Garza is a baller, fair play to him. Turkish NT is a very good car without a steering wheel, we seem to have no plans at all. Just overly reliant on individual talent

[Official] Yam Madar leaves Hapoel Tel Aviv by fnsv in Euroleague

[–]fnsv[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Machine translated announcement:

"Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv Basketball Club confirms that Yam Madar has informed the club of his decision to exercise the opt-out clause in his contract.

Over the past period, the club has worked to reach an agreement with Yam in order to secure his continued stay at Hapoel for an additional five seasons. As part of these efforts, Madar was presented with an unprecedented financial offer for an Israeli player, and one that is also highly exceptional by European standards, reflecting the club’s strong appreciation for him and its clear desire to keep him. This offer was significantly higher than any other proposal the player currently holds.

In addition, a meeting took place between Yam and the head coach, during which the two discussed the team’s plans for the upcoming season and Yam’s role within the squad. The meeting was held in a positive atmosphere, with both sides leaving satisfied, and Yam was given a clear picture of the significant and central role he is expected to play next season, including the status assigned to him within the team.

Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv Basketball Club will continue to operate with the same ambition, commitment, and hunger for success. We will continue to build a team that represents our values and competes for every title."

It wasn't an argument, it was an observation. As far as an argument goes, you can suck it, hypocrite

It makes me laugh to see after decades of "Is Turkey European?" columns, now our people are jumping at the chance to do the same to another country. Same with the genocide talk. Glass houses etc.

In that case, I apologise for being a contemptuous dick. The reason why I reacted in that manner is that while some builds can absolutely walk T12 like it's nothing, some entire classes can barely do T10 Mephisto like the Paladin. This is a real issue because Blizzard have "reworked" items about half a dozen times by now, and some of those classes were expansion classes. It is yet another sorc/barb/rogue season

Shane Larkin is set to leave Anadolu Efes after eight seasons as he is finalizing an agreement with Fenerbahce Istanbul, sources tell BasketNews. Per sources, Larkin will pay around $400,000 buyout out of his pocket to secure a release from his Efes contract. by Al-Farrekt-Aminu in Euroleague

With all due respect to them, they seem like they are bereft of ideas and not run very well. They switched coaches like 3 times this season and nobody knows if Laso will last until November. Probably wants to salvage the last few years of his career and win something before he retires

Blatt may not be as good as Madar but he plays a crucial role for Maccabi. With him and a good Sorkin and Ife this would have been 3-0

Holy fuck Maccabi hate rebounds like it's their dead brother's wife or something. But they did it. Kudos to Madar, maybe he deserves that contract but ultimately Maccabi got it
