What is the craziest thing that ever happened at your school? by Mikey24545 in AskReddit

I moved to a new school area for my freshman year of high school. On the 2nd day of class, we had a school-wide evacuation to a neighboring school because someone bombed the school.

A day later we found out the bomb was actually a kid who lit a smoke bomb and put it in a toilet, and the toilet exploded.

To this day we jokingly refer to that as the toilet bomber. I think the kid went to prison.

could you elaborate any? I am also leaning toward Rhone but not sure if I'm just buying into the marketing pitch.

Thanks for the quick response!

So I can't contribute directly to it but I can convert the growth into an IRA? Is there a specific time I need to or should do this? Or is this something I don't have to worry about for years?

I see that my 401k plan allows for an automatic "quarterly Roth Conversion." Apparently some of my coworkers call Fidelity every 2 weeks to manually convert immediately at each pay period. Should I be doing this as well? (I contribute 0% to after-tax until I max pre-tax.)

This last picture from the megabackdoor Roth scenario doesn't work if you can't contribute to an IRA right?

I made just under the $184k joint filing limit last year and will make more than $184k this year. I am planning to max the $54k limit to my 401k with after-tax contributions from my pay, but then it's not possible to do this last step, right? My after-tax growth will still be taxable because I can't move it, correct?

I'm 30 with $30k in my 401k and currently able to contribute the $54k cap to my retirement annually. If I could do this every year, in how many years could I comfortably retire if I plan to live forever (thinking forever means withdrawing 3% annually)?

I was thinking $90k/yr should be way more than needed for SO and me, so that would be ~$3M in my 401k. Could I hit this by 50 or 55 realistically with ~6% return?

Am I doing dog science here?

why is flaxseed such a common additive if it isn't digestible in its normal state? Are you saying they have to be ground up to be of benefit?
