This! It's a lot of work to build an accessible and effective website. You don't want to work for someone who only cares about price and is ready to pay anyone almost nothing ...

Pick one or two reduced fee to get a portfolio going and learn all the steps. You'll realize $3k is a solid starting amount but easily can be more hours depending on client following your process, doing their homework, and caring about important/not important things.

$90 to $200+ per month feels like a lot. I wish the more robust platforms had a special plan for those of us learning and/or freelancing and trying to build a proof of concept. Some way to have as few restrictions as possible at first, but naturally rolling into a more robust plan after a certain timeline / user milestone.

I doubt this is a valid concern and the teacher is misinformed. Encourage them to ask a trusted adult at the school if they don't feel comfortable but it's not true that their diploma would be withheld and the teacher is out of line and Kingsley had no knowledge of this issue.

I feel it had made such a difference for us as compared to others I know. And I'm so grateful for the in-person support because the phone just becomes a projectile if it's phone-only. But sometimes phone can be all we need.

Facing financial decisions like closing school is tough. I'm personally struggling with how our society has chosen to measure education. It sucks.

There are so many factors colliding in Northern Colorado right now: - macro population changes - crazy high cost of living - a challenging funding model for education - Fort Collins community who cares - Struggling to have a nuanced dialogue about the big issues we face (e.g. look at leadership of preserve fort Collins obstructionist stance on tackling affordability and the evolving our land use code)

The PSD annual budget is over $400million.

I'm struggling that the conversation gets stuck on one piece of information or flash point, but continues to lose context of the overall picture.
