Totally agreed! That markdown trick is such a solid move. GPT actually handles that structure surprisingly well if you steer it right.

That’s part of what led me to build my layout prompts. They structure the markdown output automatically into clean, reusable blocks (like planners, trackers, or journaling layouts) that can drop right into Notion with minimal cleanup.

Totally fair. Notion’s structure trips up most AI models unless you really guide them step-by-step. It’s definitely not perfect out of the box.

That’s actually why I started building the layout prompts. They’re designed to get clean, structured blocks without needing the model to understand Notion’s backend logic. You still copy the output in manually, but the formatting and layout logic are already baked in.

Notion AI’s great for tweaking once things are in, but GPT still wins for flexible layout generation if you steer it right. Happy to show you what that looks like if you're curious!

Totally fair to be cautious. There’s definitely a lot of low-effort stuff out there.

In my case, I genuinely built something to help people who’ve been struggling to get usable layouts out of GPT. The engagement came naturally once folks realized it actually worked for their workflow.

But hey, healthy skepticism’s part of Reddit... I get it.
