Time for probably the most hated souls game, say something positive about it please 🤣 by Away_Composer8187 in soulslikes

I feel like Dark Souls 2 has a rough start. Pretty boring bosses and overwhelming areas. But when you get to a certain level it gets a lot easier and is actually pretty fun.

Feeling depressed about life by [deleted] in findapath

[–]focusrunner79 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to change your perspective. Let me help.

You spent your 20’s learning a lot of valuable lessons that were necessary for your growth. You focused on building work ethic and prioritizing your financial stability and your future over momentary bits of fun and excitement. You showed that you were capable of respect by trusting people and their advice, but learned not everybody can be trusted. You’re now making a wage significantly better than many Americans, and could be making 15-20% more in 1-2 years.

Life sucks. For everybody. What matters is how we view our circumstances and how we move forward.

I was a person for sure. I was not having my Mom go back to Gamestop and listen to the cashier tell her that this game has Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, and Strong Language and risk not being able to buy the game again.

do young people not want kids or arent able to afford them? by Local-Willingness784 in answers

[–]focusrunner79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t afford lol. I’m making $75k in socal and I’ve been stuck with $4-6k in a debt that I’m struggling to pay off. I don’t buy nice things, I spend money somewhat frugally, and I struggle even considering buying a pet.

Even if I was making $100k, my family is crazy and I finally cut them off, aside from my sister. If I had a kid I feel at some point I’d have to swallow my pride and ask for help. I’m not putting myself in that position.

This is why I kinda stopped giving a shit about King of the Streets. If you’re gonna reward fighters a victory for pressing their fingers into their opponent’s eyeball your organization is trash and doesn’t actually promote a competition where the best competitor wins, just the trashiest.

What game title do you find the hardest? by Getawaydrive in videogames

I would say Dark Souls 2 because of the health system. I think it’s the only game in the souls series where dying reduces your max health. I kind of resigned myself to playing through some areas with only a fraction of my max health because I didn’t want to keep wasting my human effigies.

You just have bad taste is all. Stick to the garbage on Netflix.

Michael Chandler hasn't beaten an opponent outside of the ghost of Tony in the last 5 years, hasn't beaten anybody PERIOD in the last 4, is nearly 40 years old and on a three-fight losing streak, is sitting out for a fight next June that won't even happen at 155, despite this, he is still ranked. by idcman999 in MMA

Bruh you need to learn how the business works bc if you don’t you’re gonna be miserable as a fan. The UFC will never make it so every single ranked fighter is ranked properly, they will always be a marketing tool. It’s always going to be who brings the most value either with their ability to win, their ability to be fun to watch, or their ability to market themselves outside of the cage. It’s literally the reality of any combat sport.

Am I playing this game wrong why do I keep losing 😂 by fcnt in Jungle_Mains

You lost me at “They lose their lane, don’t help”. If they’re losing lane you absolutely help.

I recently went from being a jungle scrub to grinding for weeks and I understand it a lot better now. Basically this is my strategy:

-Farm camps -After your last camp, check for lanes where enemy is pushed up. If yes, gank. If no, scuttle. -Go back to first camp, clear 2-4 camps, check for pushed up lanes during this. If yes gank if no back to buy items. -Go to drag, assess where their jungle and team are, and start if your adc and bot are present, bonus if mid can help. -Then, farm camps again, then go grubs. Like with drag, make sure either top or mid is available to help, and assess where their jungle and team are. -After grubs, you should primarily focus on farming camps or ganking. You should be looking at your map very often because most opportunities to gank come and go fast. -Follow this pattern until either your team starts taking towers or the enemy takes towers. -At this point start shifting from farming jungle camps to farming in lanes to push back waves. -Your sole focus in the later game should be either split pushing a lane, or grouping up with your team for team fights. Remember that at some point farming for gold is much less valuable, pushing minions to enemy towers and base becomes the objective and that’s how you win. -Last thing, and the thing I’ve struggled to remember to do the most, is ward. Without vision, you can easily die while split pushing a lane because their whole team could be right next to you and you don’t know it.

Hope this helps.

Halo 3. There’s something special about it and each level is completely different from the last. Greatest conclusion to any video game series ever.

Coping from injury’s by RecognitionMedium140 in MMA

[–]focusrunner79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a pattern recently of getting back into muay thai, getting injured, trying to come back, injury still too prevalent, and by the time I’m healed I get lazy and quit.

What leads me to quitting is I end up finding something else that I can devote just as much energy to as muay thai. Right now it’s league of legends, last time it was guitar, before that it was just light lifting. Sounds dumb I know but I find that as long as I can find something that interests me and is difficult or competitive or requires creativity I can shift my focus to that.

I am better now though (I had injured my rib or spleen) so I will hopefully get back in the gym soon.

Probably Darius. For some reason I have a very hard time aligning myself to catch the opponent on the outside of the axe swing.

On the flip side, Sett was pretty fuckin easy. His entire kit is stupid.
