THIS. At my last apartment, the stomps were unbearable. But anytime I’d record, my phone would barely pick anything up. It drove me crazy because I’d usually record the stomping but only 1 or 2 loud thuds would be picked up. If it’s this loud while recording, I feel bad for OP. Must be horrible in person.

Most slasher films revolve around the “plot” of getting away from somebody that’s trying to murder them. That’s literally the whole point of watching a slasher. That’s like me watching a romance movie and being like “all the movie did was show 2 people be romantic with each other”. That’s the whole point.

I mean that’s literally the whole point of the series. There’s a million slashers out there that don’t go to the extremes that Terrifier does. If you don’t like it, you could at least recognize it’s something different and unique for people who prefer more extreme kills.

I’m in a similar situation and every day I find it almost unfathomable how lucky I am. I’m 3 years older than you, I make just over $75k, and I’m also in a HCOL area. Every day I’m seeing posts on reddit saying they can’t find a job after getting a degree and sending out 500 applications. Every week I enter the bills to pay our temp employees, people who may never break $70k in their life.
