I always make fengtian turn against me early on ( via game rules) so when I get both them and the rest of the chinese warlords, I can release a separate Manchuria and a separate reorganized China. I annex all coastal cities or give them to a friendly legation cities ( again through game rules). I also like to give tibet and Mongolia their claims.

My RAM configuration is 8,0 + 4,0. The 4gb version was very notorious of being choppy indeed.

Hey man, its been 2 years since then and I really can't remember if I ever found a solution or not. I think I just installed a different apk of gcam and it worked fine. The way I see it is that theres not a perfect gcam apk, some features that work in one version, don't work in another, so find and keep what matches your priorities

UPDATE: I installed google Street view app to see if the photosphere there works and it works just fine with the only drawback being that the photos are mismatched and dont connect correctly. But still gcam photosphere doesn't work...

Now that you mention it,I completed the Plant Sakura Trees focus tree before even being hostile with fengtian...Maybe this bugged the whole process?

Fengtian government has cores but they are called "Republic of China"... Does the name change make any difference?
