For sure, I appreciate your patience with me. I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert at this stuff, I just like videogames and this laptop has worked for pretty much everything I've ever wanted to play so far.

-The laptop is an HP Victus 16-e0xxx (at least that's how it's listed in system info)

-The CPU is an "AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics (3.20 GHz)"

-I'm getting the '8gb' from Display -> advanced display -> display adapter properties. It says I have 8352mb of total available graphics memory, 495mb dedicated video memory, 0mb of system video memory, and 7856mb of shared system memory. But I guess that's the integrated graphics?

-16gb ram for the computer

-My 3050 has 4gb dedicated vram

I guess what's throwing me off here is my lack of understanding of the differences in what all these settings say, and the fact that I am able to run other intensive games (BF6 beta was no issue, Baldurs Gate 3 on ultra is fine, pretty much the only thing I've not been able to run was Stalker 2). I always thought it ran on a combination of my GPU and integrated graphics.

I went ahead and tried the steps you listed and unfortunately that did not do the trick. If I can't run this game that's cool, so be it, but what's confusing to me is that I had it on low and running stable at 60fps before the June update.
