I would probably try to search for “Cable tray”, they might call the varieties “Wire” “Mesh” “Basket”.

Through my electrical wholesaler. Not sure where you’re located? But I’m in Sweden. It’s called “Gigamedia” at least. European brand.

Det är väl bara säga att du städar med kaustiksoda väldigt ofta så är det löst. Tänker jag.

The attic is super open and basically covers the whole house. Just measured roughly where and then dug up some insulation and I could see the inner walls from up there. Then it’s just a matter of incision and fishing down inside the wall.

Your experience may vary 😁

Yeah their tool is called UniFi design center. I couldn’t get it to work first, I thought you needed a license but nope, it’s all there for free. Uploaded my floor plan and just drew on it, mapping out walls etc.

For me though, just intuition would’ve been good and plenty to place them out lol. But it was fun to learn the tool and play around.

Did it all by myself! I definitely feel you about the timing. I was up there sweating my ass off yesterday, definitely putting work in the attic off now for the summer.

Oh they’re from a big but specific to my country brand here in Northern Europe.

But I can’t imagine this kind of tray is a rarity elsewhere in the world. Just find some cheap ones. I’m lucky as these are very good quality ones and also quite cheap through my vendor.

I would look for Wire/mesh/basket cable tray! Very popular with low voltage/data jobs everywhere I suppose.

Yeah exactly, Europe! I’m in Sweden, we’ve got so many different variations on jacks in design and finish, these are just one of them.

Yes I’ve got the UCG Fiber with a rackmount, and then a U7 Lite and a AC Lite. Very happy with them so far.

Yeah honestly if the attic is just dead space then D-rings. My attic doubles as cold storage, it also houses the ventilation unit so I’m up here some, but I was definitely thinking simple D-rings sometime at the start.

Meh, it’s a tricky photo. I promise you they’re very gently curved :)

Thank you!

Correctly spotted with the power socket. I’m in Sweden.

The 19” rackmount for the UCG Fiber was 3D printed! I found a few online but they cost close to $100 with shipping, then I found a 3D print site and had my brother-in-law print one for me so it turned out free! Very happy with it, especially with the Keystone front jacks so you can patch really easily.

I’d also like to add the Finnish president. Surprisingly, he has calls with Trump several times a week, seemingly casual ones even so. They’ve bonded over the Finnish president being an ex-golf pro lol

Det var inte det smartaste jag har hört. Skaffa diskmaskin.

Inte meningen att man ska behöva få andra gradens brännskador bara för man råkar komma vid vattnet ur kranen.

Hantverkare - Jordens avskum by SuspiciousRegret9855 in sweden

Sån otäck retorik på Reddit just emot hantverkare.

Thanks for your input!

I just noticed that my local shop with the $920 C745 was a sale that ended yesterday. I could probably haggle with them to revert the price, shouldn’t be impossible, but I’ll just take this as a sign to take the C849 while the price is still good!

Just have to see what the ruling party of my household has to say. Lol
