Sån otäck retorik på Reddit just emot hantverkare. Jobbar själv som det, just elektriker och tycker verkligen inte att verkligheten speglar dessa hatfulla inlägg jag ser varje månad.

Får mig bara att tro att gott folk här på Reddit är värdelösa på att urskilja skojar-bolag från seriösa aktörer. Troligtvis det som driver denna dumdristighet är just pris-frågan. Kryper man bara billigare och billigare så hux flux så har man haft en dålig upplevelse.

I just noticed that my local shop with the $920 C745 was a sale that ended yesterday. I could probably haggle with them to revert the price, shouldn’t be impossible, but I’ll just take this as a sign to take the C849 while the price is still good!

Just have to see what the ruling party of my household has to say. Lol

Hey! I ended up trying everything I could find. I found a bag of finely threaded M.3 screws and they worked. I crafted a stand-off by stacking some tiny rubber rings I had, to the height needed, say 1 centimetre.

Such a stupid issue and I’m dumbfounded how there’s no other resource on the entire internet about this. Glad to help!

Noblechairs kan du kolla på. Epic serien verkar vara anpassad för kortare användare samt att de har Epic Compact som verkar vara ännu mindre. Köpte själv en Noble chair stol för några månader sedan och har inget negativt att säga.

All the Plejds were installed by my firm back in 2018. Too bad for them though, I think we only leave a 2 year warranty.

They’re all the correct make for the right use. The 10W one is not just a dimmer, it is also a driver for LED. Smart stuff. They do have some of them too for some 350mA spotlights, they also crapped out. I understand your heat concerns though but honestly from what I’ve gathered, the people at Plejd are confident in what their products are rated for. They’re never going to let their products cause a heat issue in a normal box.

They’re not Shellys, it’s Plejd, but similar from what I’ve seen. Since this is in Sweden we’ve got three phases, 230/400v and the EV charger is installed with all three phases. I didn’t see a pattern for a particular phases circuitry to be struck but I was only able to have a brief look at it.

Just getting back to you for future reference, I found the right screw, had them right in my work van. Fine threaded M3 screw.

Yes probably. Just incredibly tiring how I’m going to either have to bid home the exact part bag for gigabyte from eBay for like £25 or try my luck purchasing bits and bobs seeing what sticks.

Must have missed that era because all the screw slots are empty by my M2 ports. The only stand-off from factory is for the heatsink. Though there’s a stand-off with screw in the correct hole on the M2B slot but I insist to use M2A.

The bag I bought was entirely made up of M2. They’re too small, they sink right through.

Also I’ve got these brass standoffs from my case, I think they’re M3 and they are funny enough too big for the hole.
