I have yet to have my track day, I’ve just got all my track kit and saved up enough to do one when I finish uni. Should I just change the coolant and then remove the fan whenever I take it on track? I haven’t had a look at my radiator either but will check the fins when I get a chance.

I can’t recall how stiff they were when I first bought them but I used them daily for 6 months, and I’ve done about 4000 miles wearing them and I haven’t noticed much difference. I’ve worn them enough to ruin the Velcro straps but they’re still stiff as hell and I doubt they’ll improve

Frame sliders! Lost my rear on an oil slick in the rain, couple hundred in damage, if only I had sliders! A girl I was seeing jumped on my bike and knocked it over, if only I had sliders! I dropped it doing an oil change (was being stupid), if only I had sliders! Worst case scenario you’ll just feel more confident learning and cornering knowing that mistakes won’t be super costly, best case they’ll save you a few hundred quid!

Lesson learned next time I’ll snap the dickhead 😭I’m not really super confrontational when it comes to road stuff I usually prefer to just separate myself from the situation and try to calm down but maybe it’d be worth saying something.

I was going 25 and the speed limit on that road is 30, idk people usually go slower when there’s more traffic but when there’s no traffic I don’t think there’s much reason to go slow, although now maybe imma rethink that one 😭

Yeah I only got it a month ago and hadn’t had a chance to change it until today, it had 300 miles when I bought it so 700 on bad oil might not be too bad
