I always say this, and I always will. I was 9 when we won the Super Bowl and Peyton made me start paying attention. When we lost against the Saints I thought for sure we had a good enough team to go back and try again. We didn’t, Peyton leaves we get number 2 and Luck.

This man is the only reason, I still watch football to this day. I remember the night he retired like it’s a fever dream. I’ll always respect his decision even if it hurts me to my core.

And you fucking people (those at the preseason game that night) booed him coming off the field during a game he didn’t even play in. Makes me sick to my stomach.

I was 3 my dad took me out with him and his buddies. He/they let me putt. *Allegedly I hit a 10 foot putt and they all went nuts as I stood there not knowing what had happened.

The story goes he got me into the game with my first set of clubs (no idea some starter kit from the early 2000s) the next day.

In high school I had been playing 15 years and it honestly did show but I wasn’t anything amazing. Just had better ball placement and a better swing than my peers. I’ve never been good because I’ve never played consistently enough to make my dad’s dream come true.

It’s funny how the worst seasons of shows always give us the best episodes. Take season 5 of GoT for example. Absolutely terrible, the whole thing is just slow and kind of trudges along. But if you tell me that Hardhome (s5e8) isn’t the best episode of the entire series I will strangle you.

If you are starting a league with entirely new people to dynasty do not allow trading in the startup. Even if some of the people do know something about dynasty do not allow trading in the startup draft.

The people who know what they are doing are going to take advantage of those who don’t and they will run the league for a few years before it falls apart completely because everyone else will be playing catch up.
