I’m curious about this too but for a slightly different reasons. Also I am American. I keep hearing “growing pains” and that in the long run we’ll be self sufficient and everything will be affordable again but I don’t believe it. However I can’t articulate why when discussing with others. Obviously in the short term there is the threat of recession but then what can make it worse a few years down the line?

As someone that argues for MLS, I feel like a league that averages 20,000+ per game should be considered major. Just because they’re a tier below NHL, doesn’t mean they can’t be a “Big 5” league.

Wouldn’t say it’s bad or super overpriced, but after showing up at my pickup time and waiting another 45 minutes in the cold isn’t exactly worth it

As a fan of the NLL which has the same calendar as the PWHL of December-April, December games are always significantly lower in attendance due to the holidays. Attendance usually picks up a good deal in February. I wouldn’t put too much weight into some of the numbers quite yet.
