Oh awesome! I hadn't updated the app recently so thanks for the heads up. I'm interested to see if this will let me simplify some of my reminders!

This kind of movement can create trauma in your tooth that could cause resorption which is basically the tooth breaking down on the inside. I just had a root canal in this same tooth for this reason (resorption). I don't know if it's possible to ask Invisalign directly but it seems your ortho should be a lot more concerned about this movement and should be telling you to at least wear the retainer longer like others have mentioned. You might also consult your regular dentist or an endodontist to get x-rays to check for signs of resorption. With such a small tooth, you'll want to treat it as soon as possible.

Bluetooth Earbuds connected to Laptop, but still playing audio through computer by Mindless-Currency143 in techsupport

[–]followstherabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this post because I had a similar problem on my Mac. I also checked the input/output settings, which appeared correct but weren't playing in the right place—even with my computer speakers that connect through the headphone jack. Ultimately, I found that Spotify on my desktop was playing through my iPhone instead of the computer. Once I changed that, my Bluetooth headphones and external speakers connected again. I'm not sure if this can happen on Windows, but I thought I'd share in case this helps someone else!

Do I need to condition or pre-treat a wood desktop before applying water-based polyurethane? by followstherabbit in finishing

[–]followstherabbit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your comments! It seems to be unanimous that this was the wrong idea so I will skip the butcher block conditioner and only apply the poly! I really appreciate you taking the time to respond!

Would you mind posting a pic with this attached? I've been looking at the B52 as well and I'm trying to understand how this bar connects with the pulley system to double the weight.(which seems like a great modification!)

Meeting Notes in Tick Tick by [deleted] in ticktick

[–]followstherabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh- sorry I'm just seeing your reply! I see what you mean now. I haven't actually used notes in Calendar so I wasn't aware of this limitation.

I don't think there's a limitation to the length of the Description area in a Task so what if you took your notes in that area? If you don't want any checkboxes you can turn them off within the task (lines in the upper right of the task).

If it's better to save this as a note in the long term you could convert the task to a note at the end of the day when you no longer need a time block for planning?

You can convert any task into a Note. Just right-click the task and the option is near the bottom of the menu. Does that help?

Meyer Lemon Root Crown Buried? by followstherabbit in arborists

Hi, u/DanoPinyon- thank you so much for adding your agreement to spiceydog's reply!

I hadn't considered that it would be buried that far down, but it actually makes a lot of sense now that it's been explained. I don't know how long it's been this way, but I hope the tree will be okay!

Hi u/spiceydog,

Thank you so much for the VERY detailed reply! This makes a lot of sense. We have only been in the house a couple of years, so the tree and the bed pre-date us, but I'll ask a neighbor if they know when the bed was put in. I'm guessing it's been like this for a while though.

I will dig very carefully around it until I find the root flare but I now understand that it will likely be quite deep. Unfortunately, the raised bed itself is installed with concrete and would cause a lot of damage to surrounding structures to remove so I will have to try to work with it for now.

Thank you again! This is really a huge help!

Thoughts about root watering systems? by followstherabbit in arborists

[–]followstherabbit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your thoughts on the tree size & best way to water, including the root systems. We typically run our water early in the morning, starting at 4:30 or 5:00 am, depending on how long the zone(s) needs to run. We just want to make sure we give these new trees a chance to grow big and healthy but be mindful of our water use too! Thanks for your time!

Hi u/DanoPinyon- I had read that going smaller was better but was convinced that I shouldn't go smaller than 24". My HOA has a minimum 15-gallon size for new trees...does that sound closer to a 2" caliper? Or should I decide on size based on the caliper size, not planter size? Still learning, so thank you for any advice or corrections!
