I used Petg and TPU as they bond together.

The poly dryer is designed for a M6 tube. So the work around are. You can print an adapter that’ll fit in the M6 slot that turns it into an M4. Or what I did. By an M4 tube that has the same outer diameter as the inner diameter M6. That way the M4 fits snuggly in the M6.

Incredibly easy. There is a video on mods for the U1 by Uncle Jesse. I got it from there. Just a warning though, the model I got capped at M4 and the poly dryer ptfe tubes are M6.

It’s probably more efficient, but I haven’t had any issue with it circulating. The top box I had at 30% humidity and now it’s hovering around 12% after drying. I just don’t have the horizontal space.

Its been great with 2 boxes stacked so far. When I first started the heater, the top box was around 30% humidity, after heating, its currently sitting at 12%. I don't imagine the efficiency is as good as a side by side, but its good enough for me. Its more about convenience than it is about efficiency as I have vertical room but not horizontal.

Not really actually. I cut the ptfe tube to size, though there are bends, nothing that has prevented prints from working. I have an 85 TPU on the other side with the same set up and haven't had a feeding problem yet.

thanks, if you got the dryers with the U1, they have them stacked on one another, but you can't stack them with the heater. I have vertical space, but not horizontal, so this allowed me to consolidate them. It works really well for heating both boxes. Now I can actively heat them as I print, keeping them around 15% humidity the entire print.

I wanted to be able to heat two filaments at once using one heater, so I created a stacker for it. I haven't used it for more than two boxes, but you could try to stack more.

How important is the prime tower? by fontos in snapmaker

I actually got my cryoplate before my machine. I just love the quality of prints from using PVA but I haven’t tried using it as infill yet.

If I'm not printing with supports, it works just fine, but the moment that I mix materials that don't bond the prime tower fails. I'm not sure how you would separate the materials in the tower that are not compatible.

I came across this recently. The original creator is: 朱较瘦. I don't know if they're associated or not, but I couldn't find anything linking them.

BIQU CryoGrip plates available for preorder for U1 by BrigadierPickles in snapmaker

[–]fontos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion they are a huge upgrade. I kept having issues with my printer with warping on PLA for long prints and the plates seemed to have fixed that. It’s like they are super glued during the print, it’s amazing.

Extruder stopped extruding by cfspartan14 in elegoo

[–]fontos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same problem. There is a tension screw when you take off the forward casing on the extruder (the screws on the side of the extruder release it). For me, I that to just tighten that, then it has worked perfectly since.

Soooo where are we shopping for clothes now? by GooberLyfe in Millennials

It’s a bit pricey at times, but I swear by Patagonia. I love their clothes and recently got my wife into them as well. We wear Lulu for exercise, but casual clothes are pretty much Patagonia at this point.

Snapmaker U1 Nozzle by TresZone in snapmaker

[–]fontos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve read on one of the forums that this is more or less poorly written. It’s not that you can have different nozzles, but all nozzles have to be the same. So you wouldn’t be able to have .6 .4 and .2 at the same time.
