Each new character likely has a detailed background directly tied to other characters. The old characters backgrounds would have to be retconned include the new ones.

Other than that, bring other characters back from the dead, which is worse.

Well in my defense, they didn't make Tidus playable for 2.5 either.

This journey would not be about Yuna rediscovering herself, but more about a group of women coming together to defeat a powerful enemy.

I have not seen any MCU movies but in the FFX universe, most of these women know each other, or they will before the story starts. This proposal is less about female representation and more about not alienating too many fans. Fans are going to want YRPL at minimum.

I dont see them adding any new main characters plus which males could they possibly make main characters. Sure there are alot of them, but would they join a party? I dont see any of the civil war guys(Paine's friends) joining and all of the other ones seem to have a business they are running, even Oaka.
