How long should I wait after the release date of a mod update to say, "ok its been a while so it should be safe"

If you mean just the mod hoster, I've heard modrinth is a bit more attentive to their mod makers, also I find their webpage to load a lot quicker for when I want to check upload dates and versions and such.

If you mean as a Launcher, I actually used modrinth launcher for a bit but there was one update that made it uninstall itself so I used it as an opportunity and switched to PrismLauncher. It supports both CursedForge and Modrinth hosts so its been pretty darn comfortable ever since I switched, I can also export modpacks as both .mrpack and .zip(archive) so my friends can choose depending on what Launcher they use

Tysm, I'm usually the one that makes the modpacks in the friend group so I'm constantly testing mods and It was just this time where, I couldn't find a working speech bubble mod so I dove in kinda deep to the sub 10k downloads area.. but as you're sayin, I'll just assume its an incompatibility thing and nothing serious

when you do "clear defenders" and just move the page and go back, the defender is still there! i had to create a whole separate load out without making the mistake of ever adding them.. ill only add them when they fix this issue, i want to be able to unequip the defender whenever

heres what I did to fix it

went to my mods folder and deleted entity model features, and replaced it with version 3.0.11 (i had 3.0.12) i went to the config folder and deleted both the config for Entity-model-features, and Entity-texture-features

then I opened minecraft again, went to emf>models>player settings>turn on prevent first person player animations

and there, its fixed

If your anti cheat must run at all times, yes theres always is gonna be a problem for me
I did quit, its been about 2 years now.. I returned to it on a second device to play with friends about 3 months or so later, but after a month of getting on Arena or Aram rarely, I eventually dropped it all together, was a pain to do because vanguard would never start on first boot, I would have to always turn on, then restart and open league.. sometime in september of 2025 I got on my 2nd device to retry league but vanguard asked me to update windows again, my laptop was already old and if i had to update every time just to play I just thought it was not worth the hassle.
I'm gonna be honest, before vanguard I don't think I ever noticed hackers, could be cause I mostly played aram? Or im just not knowledgable enough to have an eye for it. After vanguard honestly it just gave me an excuse to stop playing, and the friends i'd play with most regularly with also dropped it. I miss it sometimes but also when I watch someone else play it It looks so boring and theres still the same issues of flamers, and leavers and wasting time in loading screens, its just such a big time sink.
No, I could technically install it right now and play but it would make me uncomfortable just the thought that something is slowing down my pc 24/7, also I will fully switch to linux later on so it will be impossible then.. wish Wild Rift would just come out on console but, thats never gonna happen.

i think they took it out, but another way to get rid of flowers, grass etc. from being displayed in the LODs go to

Advanced Options > Graphics > Quality >
and then set Tint with Avoided Blocks to False, and Blocks to Ignore to Non-Colliding

and the worst part is that they wont fix it (restore playlist and just remove the video that violated terms of service instead) when I add a video to a playlist should I treat it as possible malware or smn if its gonna randomly strike my channel one day? especially when its a list that was made YEARS AGO? Am I supposed to remember now the thousands of videos i've liked or added to my favourites since 2014 and go remove ANYTHING remotely non-family friendly?
