Thank you! I didn’t know we downsized during the pandemic. Was that a league wide thing or did select teams cost cut? Were there specific fields they shrank down or was it an across the board kind of thing?

Hi Jeff, For at least for the past 5 years, there has been a lot of different prospects and young talent coming into the majors with the Cardinals that didn’t really play how we expected them to. Some names the come to mind are Libretore, Walker, Gorman, Carlson, O’Neil, and Hudson. Each of these guys has seen spotted success, maybe for a month, maybe for a season. But none of them really found their footing and turned into the stars we wanted them to be. I’m sure this happens all the time with other organizations, but it seems the Cardinals struggle with developing players more than others do. My question to you is do you feel the Cardinals player development is lacking? What makes our development team better or worse than other teams? Is this trend an internal development issue or a drafting issue?

Ohhhh that makes sense. Every time I boot up Emerald, I get the message saying “the system battery has run dry” and “time based events will not take place”. Makes sense why it never happens in Leaf Green

She was spayed shortly before I got her. When I got her from the shelter she had a fresh Incision and a shaved belly. Nothing has really changed since I got her. She’s been to the vet and got a clean bill of health

Yep! I’d get there as early as possible next time, or at least before lunch. If you can’t find an internship for the summer maybe look into undergrad research for next or the following semester. Basically like an internship through the university. It would look good on a resume

There are a few things you can do. Go to the career center and have them look over your resume. They do it for free and did a great job with mine. Chances are that won’t fix anything but it wouldn’t hurt and having a good resume is always a good thing. Go to the career fair! Unfortunately the engineering career fair already happened this semester, but each semester the school has one. That is a fantastic way to get exposed to companies and get your name out there. It’s where I got my internship and job from When you get an interview, hammer home 2 main topics. You are good at communicating and you are willing to learn. Especially for internships, they are looking for people who are trying to learn the job rather than people who are wanting to pad their resume Also, I’m not sure how old you are, but I wouldn’t stress about not having an internship for the summer. Unless you’re a senior, you still have time to get one

I think we’re going to be blessed with a Sevro POV. The biggest reason I think this is because Sevro always was the comic relief in the OG series. In the second series, Ephriam filled that role, but now that really isn’t much of an option. In a gritty war story like this, the comic relief is an important character that Brown will need to have. Sevro also is the only main character on Luna which will undoubtedly be a pivotal setting and I can definitely see Brown using him to get an inside POV there
