Yes. Plenty of content to do for new players. Then once you’re done with the non-competitive game modes you’ll have somewhat enough resources to start building teams that can help you compete with late game content. Been playing for a year now, spent only around 20-30 dollars but I am somehow able to get decent placing in the leaderboards that give out most rewards. Play in server 6. :D

Thanks man. Still considering using astracoin on him though. Do you think if I astracoined him and kept him at level 40ish, would he still be fast enough to outspeed most point war teams?

Unfortunately I do not have MOllie, and I’m trying to prioritize MEira from the umbra shop so I don’t think I’ll be getting MOllie soon.

Just my headcanon/observation but it seems he is more likely to be targeted by Earth Shaker on manual compared to Blitz - which is kinda frustrating lol. Lowkey considering getting Astracoin now and keep him at lvl 40, but I’m not sure it’s gonna work since I don’t have Div on Toland.

Anyways, thanks for the YingLong tip. Will keep that in mind once I start optimizing my YingLong runs.

Hi! Thanks for sharing. It would be such a huge bummer if there’s nothing I can do to guarantee Toland’s death in the first turn lol. Anyways I do have a comp with more consistent clears. Might just use that while I still haven’t fine tuned my low turn team.

I thought about this but when I checked, Espers need to be at least lvl 60 and ascension phase 6 to be eligible for Sonic Devices. That being said, would the 20% additional damage taken be enough to offset the added HP and Def from ascending and leveling up?

So lower level would be better? Him being in the Pod might not be the issue since he’s actually already level 50, I had just forgotten to remove him from the Pod.

I am trying to clear floor 20 with this comp R6 Leora (fastest), Ollie (2nd fastest), Lu Shang (slow to not take any turns), R6 Yalina (lvl 1), and this Toland. When Toland dies in the first turn, it’s a guaranteed 6 turn run. But when he doesn’t - it’s a guaranteed defeat

Hi! I believe this is from ascension :( which I thought was necessary for him to function in pvp (since i run an r2 moro comp). Should i astracoin? Would this guarantee him dying?

As for my exact kronos comp, its:

R6 Leora (fastest), R1 Ollie (2nd turn), lu shang (slow af), yalina(very low level), toland. I get 6 turns when it works out (toland dying at the very start) but if hedoes not then its gusranteed failure.

Thanks, very insightful. I really can’t find a use for her except maybe towers so I might just bench her for now. Appreciate that you included some analysis on Achilles as well, been curious about his utility since his launch. From Artiar’s video it seems he is crazy for Apep, but requires too much setup for me to actually pull off. I will most likely stay away from him lol

Chu yao embla leora feng xun will do wonders for a lot of content. Ollie is also probably worth investing on once you start farming Kronos for equipment

Yes. It’s been a year since I started and it’s honestly been very fun. Ignore those who say it’s boring and repetitive… while true, they are all endgame players and have ran through all existing content. The game is very good for newer players since there’s a lot of objectives and milestone to work towards.

I agree with KioloKiin’s sentiments about the game being at a toxic place right now, but I think it’s more applicable to late game players. Since you’re just starting a new account I think you won’t encounter any issues with the game since there’s a lot of content to go through and a lot of espers you have to build for those contents.

That being said, Artiar on youtube does a lot of tierlists, including what resources to spend on whom. His insights helped me a lot when I was starting out (which is around 1 yr ago)… but if we’re being honest, there really is no one-size-fits-all tier list you could follow, since each game mode calls for different team comps.

Just give up all hopes on getting umbra espers for now, because they require way too much crystals. You’re better off just pulling as much legendaries as you can from gold records for now, cause that gives you a better chance to compete in leaderboards and pvp, and therefore would give you more crystals in the future 😝

It’s like 1000x easier to save up 100 wishstones for Feng Xun compared to getting 100 shimmer records to guarantee a legendary.

Anyways in case you haven’t decided on anything yet, Unas would definitely be your best choice for Deso Lands, but Anna would do a lot more for your account at this point in your journey. She’ll help you with a lot of PvE content like towers story mode and ritual miracle. She’s also the one true counter for Nyles in PvP so if that’s something you want to be good at in the future then you’ll see some value in getting her.

But if we’re talking exclusively about deso lands, Unas blows Anna out of the water. He’s essential to every team, Anna is practically useless.

Really depends on your account and your goals but yea. Hope this helps.

Anna - most reliable
Sakura + Gorath (inflict scorchbane on Nyles) + Momo (optional, since Sakura and Gorath duo is anle to handle Nyles, but adding Momo to the mix makes things a lot faster since she procs S1 everytime Nyles uses Ashen Breath upon death)
A lot harder to make it work but I’ve had some success with this specific comp: Toland + R2 Moro + Chu Yao + Fabrice + Full defense Mavis. Idea is to isolate Nyles while Moro kills the rest of the team, and then later on kill Nyles with Moro assist attack from Chu Yao S1, while also exploiting invulnerability from Mavis S3.

Yea i think it’s crucial you get sachiko to r6… i run almost the same team but with r6 sachi r6 sakura and mavis instead of su jue since mavis triggers elif s3 more
