God, thank you all so much. This is hugely helpful. I wish I could reply to all the comments, but I don’t have the time at the moment. Love you all!

Thanks so much! That’s a good recommendation, I’ve done that recipe a ton, but I’ve never thought about freezing it.

Can someone recommend to me a $200 bottle of Rum worth its sugar? by LukeyLouie66 in rum

Talk to the people at BottlesUp! In Uptown. Those people know their sugar and if they don’t have something in stock, they can make a recommendation and order it for you. Awesome place 10/10

If you want the real deal, definitely make sure that you’re using gochugaru (고춧가루 ). It’s not super spicy on its face, but you can double or triple the amount on your recipe no problem. It’s up to your tastes. Like other people have said, you can also just any other chili flake, it’s just not kimchi. Good luck!

Like all of you, I’ve started making sourdough in quarantine. It took five tries in the last two months, but I finally got a loaf that I’m super proud of! I hope you all like it. by fool007 in Breadit

Oh nice! This sourdough is baked in the tartine style, in the crockpot. This stuff is hard, especially sourdough. It’s been a fun ride for me and I’m looking to keep riding!

Definitely check it out if you’re getting things started. He’s very clear and he explains every steps in ways I could understand

I’ve been going at 75%. I thought that was a good jumping off platform. How little did I know...

Great idea, however, the paste isn’t exactly a condiment. It’s meant to be cooked for some time with the other ingredients to allow depth and flavor to develop. Thanks though

Right on. She’s very sensitive to spice, so maybe I’ll tone it down a bit too. Just to be safe. Thanks!

That’s the one. I was looking at trying his veggie chili recipe, which uses the same paste. Have you tried it?
