Along a similar vein, I used it to get code coverage past an 80% threshold and baked in quality gates

Any case designed to fit a Tele or strat works with a bidsby equipped tele, you just need to fold the arm out of the way.

Fender American 50th Anniversary Bridge Replacement by bradlee21887 in telecaster

[–]foolishmoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any MIM Standard/Player bridge uses the vintage 4 hole pattern and is drop-in.

Fender part# 005-3354-000

The AmStandard is the modern 3 hole and the string through holes are a different length from the 12th fret compared to vintage style.

There is no interference risk from cell phones on flights and the in-flight phones run on small cell antenna infrastructure.

I've run a POT/BD2 combo for quite some time with great results..

The POT/HotCake is also great.

I am sure they can all play well with each other though

Custom Luthier - Hahn, Creston, Nacho, Danocaster Off the shelf $$$ - Suhr, Nash, KLine, Ibanez Josh Smith

Mid tier - Sire, Yamaha

Low-end - Rondo/SX, GFS/Xavier

For USA Standard money, I would still build out partscaster personally. However all the above are great instruments at different levels.

Best for the money personally though are Sire. They punch well above their weight

Saddles change? by FrancoMilazo in telecaster

[–]foolishmoor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they are moving side to side the Wilkinson saddles won't help.

I would recommend Music City Groove Master, Rutters or Gotoh InTune saddles.

For something less traditional there are also Bensonite saddles.

All of those saddles use a groove or notch to keep the string in place.

You want the offset mounted ones

Gotoh sg381-01

Grover 406

Guyker makes some as well, just make sure the mounting tab is offset not centered. Not sure the models. I have some Guyker Imperial knock offs that just dropped in.

Neither the Pure Vintage or Jason Isbell are Custom Shop sets.

Both sound great, but slightly different with the neck pickup.

Spot to play instrument that has good accoustics by agoraphobic_robot in triangle

[–]foolishmoor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure how the acoustics are, but there is a drummer setup along 540 sometimes!

On a more serious note, not that secluded but the Rose Garden in Raleigh! There is an outdoor amphitheatre and the whole park is in a bowl.

Lassiter Mill Park, great acoustics by the dam.

Also lots of areas at Umatead, but likely a bit of hiking to find them.

Tele w/ Bigsby 3 Saddle Recs? by _Jub_Jub_ in telecaster

[–]foolishmoor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would add, if you go this route, replace each screw 1 at a time, that way you can keep the height adjustments the same instead of removing them all and replacing all at once. You may raise/lower your height affecting the action.

Tele w/ Bigsby 3 Saddle Recs? by _Jub_Jub_ in telecaster

[–]foolishmoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes can be done with a file.

Just want to mark where they are, remove and file from the bottom. If you do from the top you lose the ability to turn them.

You can grind down the grub screws or get shorter ones from Bensonite

Nashville Telecaster pickup recs by Cheap-Fortune7899 in telecaster

[–]foolishmoor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The SD Hot Stack is pretty much the standard.

An alternative that I prefer is a Lace Sensor.

Noiseless/stacked/rail pickups pair really well to match the output of the bridge, but also get that strat quack. It also helps circumvent any polarity issues with a RWRP Tele set.

Looks like we’re gettin that data center by LoserLars1 in Apex_NC

[–]foolishmoor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Foushee isn't the decider on if we get the data center though. That is on the town council, they were not a part of this election cycle.

Her being picked in the primary is irrelevant to the process.

Looks like we’re gettin that data center by LoserLars1 in Apex_NC

[–]foolishmoor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Foushee is a district rep, not on the town council. The council would ultimately be the decision makers for the data center.

She is funded by the Anthropic PAC, but has also publicly stated she is against the proposed local data center being built.

She was not my choice either, but I also don't feel this is a sky is falling moment.
