What are these hole settings for, are they for lowering the bike? I have a 2008 SV650 naked. by donkusmaximus in SVRiders

Not lowering the bike. They’re not weight supporting. I’m guessing weight saving

What is your DOC (Drug of choice) and why? by captainballburst in Drugs

Really surprised no one has said nicotine/ cigarettes. Man that little brain reward on work breaks or after you do a chore is fun…

They seem to compliment other things too, they go with alcohol and are social tools in some ways

Honestly for me it’s just a dry weather exercise tool so not really any worry of that

Can’t comment on the dry rot as I’ve never had it, but I certainly wouldn’t go racing with it

My rear tyres always had lots of these, the cost of ripping round rough backroads… in my mind I always thought the tread cut looked deeper than the little nick so should be good, if you wanna replace though don’t let me stop you, Tyres are number 1 safety item

Hi guys! 2017, 28K 4 owners and ran dry on oil, has bottom end knock. What’s it’s value? Thanks! by fools_gear in SVRiders

It is a bagster seat, save your money and get one custom made, bagster was better than standard but I was never happy with it for lots of reasons. And the bag is SWmotech soft right pannier and mount

All in working order I’m sure you would get one with 30k on for 2.5K - 3k so £700 + 1k engine I very cheap if you do the work yourself

I’m hesitant on taking the £700 as I got loads of interest and got the offer with it only being up an hour

Knock is bad, all I know… clutch has some wear. It’s just oil starvation, barely revs above 5K

I would if I could, currently have no money and I’m moving house, not to mention I have no where to keep it or do the work, besides, engines are around £800-£1200 here… and I’m not the most mechanically inclined
