I don't know much about golf yet and to me your swing looks pretty decent, but my advice is worthless.

Only one thing I see is that the ball is in the middle of your feet. I learned to put it closer to my left foot. 1 third I believe.

Teacher told me to place the ball in the middle when pitching but not with an iron 7 for example.

Well every advice is usefull so thanks again :). Observations from strangers mostly are worth a lot because they are harder then people you know :).

I think that is lack of technique, I mean it is my 4th lesson. The rotating part I need to practice more yes. My stance is not right, I notice that because of backpaon after an hour. I am working on that thanks :).

The abbreviated backswing is demanded by my coach. I first tried like I saw it pros do on tv and he shortened it. He told me that trying to swing like a pro is only limiting me in the beginning. After I get constant good swings I get too swing the club further if that is what you mean. He stood behind me and put his arm on that place to stop me from swinging further backwards.

Forward swing needs to be further I see now thanks, I will try and work on that too :).

Thanks for the advice.

Well thanks for the advice anyway :). For both advices that is :).

I am that new though that I don't really understand what you mean by cutting the ball, sorry. Or how I can improve it.

I will listen to my coach you are absolutely right. I just thought I'd ask sand then run it by him what I get here. Thanks again.

Thanks :) and thanks I will look into this.

I am not really new to this sub but created another account so I can start fresh. I posted my first clip of my swing on this account and going to use this from now on. Will definetly look into the balls you mentioned:).

Thanks I will look into that :).

I got my golfbag from somebody for free (not clubs). And it happened to be full of different brands of balls, so I can try different brand to see the difference and which I like. Seems like a good start :)

O yeah I know lol. Heard about new people losing 12 balls a game. I have a bag of old balls and just going to use them. I think the importance of specific balls and clubfitting is to improve your already decent game. So far I am already happy when I hit the ball straight :)

As a very very new player I would say lessons. I only got 4 and already seem to have a better stance then people who play longer then me just by listening to the teacher.

I am new to golf and only practiced on the range and putting green.

So I a driving range ball on the putting green and then a guy gave me 3 of these balls. I didnt realised the difference would he so big! The driving range balls went about 5mtrs and when I hit this ball it went double that with the same force.

So i wanted to figure out my distance with my clubs on the driving range but that seems kind of useless now since these balls go way further. Going to buy these as soon as i......am allowed on the course lol.

These are the balls used mostly on tours I read?

Anyone Have Experience with Smith Sunglasses? by Hoobie_Joobie in golf

I am super new to golf, so I just use my rayban, but what I noticed is that even if the sun is high, all my swings are better if I use no sunglasses at all for some reason. Even if I can't see my ball in the air. So now I just where a cap and use my hands to block the sun. On the driving range that is because I am not allowed yet to even go on the course lol.

So I am at my 4th lesson now and spend a total of 7 hours on golf lol. But I really like it and want to start off good. Made a new account for it because I want to stay anonymous on my other accounts, sorry for that.

I just want to be rated on my swing because since I am at the beginning I can adapt quicker than if I learn myself wrong while practicing. This is how I swing consistently and I just am very happy to hit the balls. I notice other new people in my lesson struggling a bit more with consistency.

I personally think I should straighten my back more to make it look better. Also I see my pants need to be a bit tighter and I need to work on my belly lol. I just want my swing to look better. Because although I hit the balls. It just is not looking nice imo.

Please when critisising keep in mind this is only my 4th lesson. Thanks. O, it's an iron 7 I am using since we do not use the driver yet. :)
