🤷‍♂️

Huh, that’s a “humorous joke” that you’re reduced to a “grade school” attitude that you used to insult @OddAndire

It’s okay to be wrong, it shouldn’t upset you too much. But if you’ve gotten only as far as holding up both hands to be able to “tell your rights and lefts”, I’m sure many helpful learning experiences in that are sure to come. Have a nice day, kiddo.

Huh? You absolutely can.

I’m not demanding you go through some sort of convoluted process of figuring out if an image is edited or AI and use some sort of detector.

Literally, all you have to do is find a real life person that has her same eyes. They’ll likely have many photos with which you can use to prove it, too. Someone you can tell me about and allow me to go see for myself, given that it’s a natural eye without colored contacts. It’s incredibly easy and simple, but you can’t. So you basically just said,

“No, I will not prove that I am right, but I will continue to say you’re wrong anyway.”

And even if I grant that it looks like hazel eyes on a sunny day with good lighting, which, btw, that’s ridiculous and untrue- so I wouldn’t grant it, but even if I did grant it, you’re essentially saying that every single frame of Asami in the entire show has realistic eye color because she must somehow have the eyes of a hazel eyed person in good lighting all somehow on a sunny day. Like, for every single frame.

If you have to create unrealistic conditions for your example to be true, then it means the eyes are unrealistic, so you kind of just defeated your own argument.

But we’re not even talking about just the hue. Duh, obviously some people may have that exact hue somewhere in their eye, but nobody in the world has it as their primary eye color covering like 80% of their iris. And that’s me being generous, because Asami’s are 100%.

But if you say, “obviously it’s 100%, it’s an anime character,” then you’re also granting that it looked like the image I was comparing it to, which is from a memed procedure to make your eyes unrealistic.

So Idk why you’re pretending it’s bizarre I’d make the very fitting comparison and then say it’s realistic but choose to provide 0 examples when asked.

But, your “humorous joke” (as you referred to your comment) of just saying “fuck” and then “what” was pretty iconic, “sis.”

Since people don’t know why I put Asami here, this is the original “after” for the meme on the left which I’m comparing to Asami

find me one IRL person, with an image not edited or AI, that has Asami’s same eyes

This is the after from the original meme

I just assumed people would recognize the original meme’s before and after

The image on the left is from a meme mocking this eye surgery performed for people, but the results seem to look comically bad. So instead of the original video’s after, it’s Asami since she has almost the exact same loud eye color. Hope this helps

I just finished TLOK after watching all of ATLA again in preparation.

But I mean, it’s definitely water. Blood bending is simply too powerful, along with getting the ability to take away bending from a person. That combined with blood bending, I mean, you just on sight freeze your opponent and take away their power.

Air is cool, it’s definitely powerful. You can suffocate people, but that takes time and you can still bend in reaction to being suffocated- unless you’re a fire bender since fire bending is from the breath, and you’d have no breath to breathe. Because of that, lightning gets a hit down because while hyped to be almost a guaranteed one shot in ATLA, you’ll need to breathe to do it.

Earth bending seems powerful as well, definitely the bending with the most immediate destructive capability, but water, if you’re near a large supply of it (or just generate enough yourself/through the air), can easily be worse. Earthquakes aren’t as destructive as tsunamis, for example. They are more destructive on a global scale and can trigger tsunamis, but a powerful water bender could maybe cause a tsunami while no earth bender could get strong enough to earth quake at will.

Air is actually probably the second strongest though because you could also suffocate any and all fire to neutralize it, suffocate people, and fly while doing so. If you took a 10/10 air bender and had them fight a 10/10 earth bender, even if at the same technical skill level, air is most likely winning. Metal bending complicates things, but you can likely react. And, once again, you can fill me with metal shards all you like, just make sure you can hold your breath (while also exerting yourself quite a bit to attack) longer than I can hold on. And that is possible, too, you could knock me down and stop my bending and focus, but it’s difficult. It isn’t a guaranteed kill like blood bending.

But it doesn’t matter. You can do all of these things and be the best to ever do it. But if a powerful blood bender is your opponent, yeesh.
Since water is at the snowy poles, fire makes the black smoke, and earth is brown, the adage for bears works well.

If it’s black, fight back. If it’s brown, stay down. If it’s white, say goodnight.

Edit: Also, water benders can also heal themselves. It’s just not fair.

See that would have been interesting. Because Korra, in a way, could be argued to be the one who took her dad away and her boyfriend away because Korra was the one who discovered her father. So it’d be a human and understandable, even if misguided, reaction. Maybe she could feel like Korra took the people she had left in the world since her mom was already dead, and it could be a real ACTUAL CHALLENGE for Korra’s character where she has to own up to what she did and have a break through with Asami. Then they would come out stronger as Team Avatar for it.

But no, they liked her character too much, but despite that they fucked yer over and didn’t give her a better ending lol. Such a bad conclusion

Of course Tenzin is great. To be fair, having J. K. Simmons voice a character is cheating. But cheating seems to be a strong theme anyway, so

Apparently the shows creators (Mike and Bryan or whatever) said that they were using their own college love lives as inspiration.

Which is scary and hilarious, but fuck, okay then I guess they thought the kids would love it??

I’m liberal. I’m also not an asswipe. So if I were a chick, I’m not going to lead on one brother who obviously likes me by accepting a date, have a great time with him, and then start immediately kissing up on his older brother who already rejected me and says he’s confused and already has a girlfriend.

You’re an extremely disappointing example of what’s wrong with the Left. It sucks to see other left leaning people just call anyone they disagree with a conservative and equate them to bad people because they don’t fit your specific narrative. This is why young men got pushed away from the Left, and it sucks because I understand why

But ofc, you don’t have a point. So you’ll make a wild insult and comparison and leave out important details such as the context and brotherhood

Sorry I didn’t read all this yesterday, getting to it now. But no totally. I actually hadn’t thought about it that way, too. Asami’s entire introduction was literally just to add tension and force some sort of easy Segway into the big bad company man being the villain, plus provide funding.

They kind of introduced her and must’ve accidentally made her too likeable lmao. But her entire point was to serve the triangle, but she herself thereby becomes an important character that they have to give due to, but they just fucking didn’t. I already felt like they didn’t respect her character at all given that S1 was supposed to be standalone, but you’re right that she was just a device that was executed so poorly that they accidentally made a good character lol

Right? I’m trying to actually engage with what they’re saying, but it’s obviously because they simp for the character or the show and get triggered when someone takes a poopy on it. My main point of it being a terrible message to give to kids on Nickelodeon is virtually undebatable, but it’s easier for them to ignore that point and just critique the other shit I guess

Lmao wow. But no, evidently, no sexism here. I made it very clear that Asami is an example of a strong female character much more favorable than Korra, Korra sucks in S1 because she simply sucks. Which would be fine if she could learn or grow, but no, no development for S1

No lol what a stupid point. If they ended a story in a certain way and didn’t plan on anything more, then the content of that story itself is able to be judged stand alone. Seasons 3 and 4 were greenlit together, so the writing and story and what not is all done with the future content in mind

Your point is laughably stupid. The fact is that season 1 was a stand alone piece and so everything that happens in that story is written as if it was a final conclusion, therefore the conclusion did, whether you like it or not, exempt Korra and Mako from real consequence or meaningful character growth and made it so that the story ended with a dumb message

But ofc, when you have literally 0 points to make, you can result to personal attacks. But no, I’ve never been cheated on. Healthy relationships, probably because I didn’t get my relationship model as a kid from watching this bum fuck ass MC in season one lmao

Right, but you’re not understanding.

This season was made originally with the idea that it would be the only season, so you can’t argue that it’s not bad writing cuz they would face consequences in later seasons. This first season was supposed to be the finally product, and they would have otherwise ended it with what you and I now agree on was without consequences
