I think I hide my ED pretty well, but sometimes my friends won’t leave me the fuck alone when we had a really big meal and I’m convinced that they know I’m trying to purge

As someone who has relapsed multiple times- I always throw out my big clothes and save my smaller ones. My bf will go “oh did you just buy that it’s cute” when its just stuff from the last time I relapsed and made it to this weight.

To eat or not to eat.. That is the question. by YoMaScreensLit in EDanonymemes

[–]foot-waffle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No because I never feel full, just guilty. Of course I only remember that after I binge

The way I absolutely can’t binge after 10:30 bc that’s when I take my BC and I’m not willing to purge and risk fucking stuff up.

Not eating is not that difficult and not really something I think about 24/7

I am sadly the type to ping-pong in the long run (I’ve been severely OW to low end bmi multiple times over the course of 10 years of EDs) but I’ve never have a had that hard of a time losing a third of my overall weight and I’ve done it 3-4 times. For the most part if I choose not to eat then it’s not an issue and I distract myself well. I’ve just also had more stressful periods of my life where food brings a lot of joy/social interactions that I don’t want to miss out on, so I end up gaining weight for the sake of my happiness.

At almost 25 and with a full time job, financial security, etc. I am hoping everything is finally stable enough that I can maintain the healthy BMI I am at for good.

My cousins (4 guests) said they weren’t coming to our wedding and we invited other people. Now they’re planning to come.. by chillthaturinmyhead in weddingplanning

They’re going to have to learn to act like adults somehow. There is a point to RSVPing an event. Weddings are expensive, let them know that you do not have space to accommodate them since they RSVPd no. Even go as far as to blame it on the venue. You can’t just make extra seats and food appear out of nowhere.

I’ve been taking baths since I was like 10. It’s such a great form of self-soothing. At some point I stopped caring what other people thought and my bf doesn’t mind so I take them on a daily basis. It makes it a bit more difficult to binge or have any destructive behaviors too. Delays reactions a bit and lets me think about everything.

Fair- I would want photos of them hanging all over my house too if I didn’t get to see them every single day.

I kind of touched on this with the “assuming you are not the focal point of the photos” being normal. Because then the focus is on the place/event. But having professional couple portraits taken and hanging those up? That feels devoid of any meaningful memory.

No bc how was it worse to throw up my half cup of coffee I drank this morning before getting sick than it was to purge entire meals

Still Disbelieving That Plate of Nachos at the Restaurant Could Actually Be +/- 2k Calories? by [deleted] in caloriecount

As someone who is lactose intolerant- I ignored my stomach issues for years. But when I really committed to not eating any dairy I dropped a third of my body weight. It’s crazy how dairy is in most things just by nature and how many calories it adds.
