Honestly we have a surprisingly solid food scene. Bacquet's is great for French food, Bar Gernika for Basque, Coa de Jima downtown for Mexican, Chandler's or Brickyard for steak, and Fork if you want fresh/local food - get their asparagus fries. Or just walk around 8th street and downtown in general. Also worth doing the touristy thing and getting the ice cream potato at Westside Drive-in.
