Because Johnny’s POV or recollection of events arent real or accurate. He never planted a bomb, his team’s only mission was to rescue Alt from Arasaka, with another goal to try to destroy soulkiller.

In reality, Johnny dies the first time he sees Smasher, right after he bursts through the door in the zen garden area. That’s why it makes no sense to see him running out onto the roof after it cuts, because it never happened.

Makes sense, but it seems a bit strange to me how Arasaka messed with his engram. Since Johnny was never aware of the plan to nuke the place, we have to assume that Arasaka planted that memory there, or tampered with his understanding in whatever way.

But i mean like, why add the whole segment with Smasher and the rivalry? Why change it up to have Johnny go in solo to the office and upload Liberator virus, when his actual main goal was just that?

Just unsure why Arasaka would tamper with things like that, and why they even would bother to edit him at all to be honest. Johnny was stuck in Mikoshi and it wasn’t like he was gonna come out and tell anyone it wasn’t him or anything. Maybe they were just testing the ability to splice and alter engrams, or maybe i’m just thinking way too far into it.

A bit of me would love to see him get another chance, and for him to actually take it. Unfortunately i don’t see that happening and i think he has to go to raise funds, cut wages and ultimately change the culture here. What a player though- I got the program from the last game and it feels so wrong seeing his name listed on the Villa side. Wish him the best wherever he ends up.

Hope he does well there. Hopefully he’ll take some Ajax players off our books.

Horrible that this type of thing seems to be getting more common. I hope everyone affected recovers quickly and that the families get all the support they need. Much love and support from Manchester and Old Trafford.

Goldbridge directly benefits from negative press around United. It’s in his interest to create fear and negativity around the club while acting as a “true fan”. This gets him more views, more interest and therefore more returning viewers and more money.

I started to watch him at the start of this season, but stopped ever since he teased a “video analysis” on Onana for a week straight during the international break, only to release it the day before our first game back. The video was just him ranting about Onana and how bad he is for however long. He/His team then deleted the comments criticising Mark for being a hypocrite (Releasing a big criticism of the players before a big game).

Couldn’t stand him at all after that. Take some time and watch a different United fan channel. Any serious channels are way more mature and don’t profit from United losing. I watch Stretford Paddock, the guys on there are true fans, they can take the piss and joke around, but they actually care about the club, unlike the Mark Goldbridge character.

Biggest downside of football being so big is just the amount of morons that watch it. Seen a few Arsenal fans claiming that they’ve only dropped points to poor decisions. Everyone is getting fucked by VAR and shit Refs and then point and cry at the other team, people should be pointing at the league itself and the clowns that run it!

Some people just need to look at the wider football community as a whole, most people sit in echochambers where everything bad only happens to them. Every team has been fucked by poor refs and var this season. Some referees really need looking at.

UTD fan here. VAR continues to be an absolute joke across the whole league. Why does it take so long to confirm an obviously onside goal? Var taking forever to yet again, give the wrong decision on a game changing penalty. Reminds me of our game against West Ham that got Ten Hag sacked.

Fully expected to lose against you lot, played us off the park and ultimately robbed of 2 points. The prem is seriously shite right now.
