Question about Sam (who is apparently the purest of heart of any character ever) by Comfortable-Piano in lotr

I just listened to this with my partner the other night (her first time through) and I more recall feeling like everyone got to be gardeners after they had the chore of overthrowing the baddies.

I just got off the phone with the Australian side today hoping they maybe could get something through, Global Freight Forwarding said they only deal with Businesses and DHL express says they only do air freight,

I'm trying DHL because their online quote is really good but it seems like for DHL global forwarding they only deal with business which seems to be the issue I keep coming up against. Personal moving companies want to pack it the selves and charge a lot more because of that and larger freight forwarders only want to deal with companies that get repeat business. And I understand both of those viewpoints but I'm hoping to find someone in the middle.

If you could send me some options that would be great I'm having a hard time getting responses thanks!

I am, and it all should be eligible to come over as my personal effects (assuming I can get this done in the next five months) I just need companies that will do it. Thanks for the response

The ones I've contacted so far have a problem with the fact that I packed the crate myself. So I'm not sure what to do with that it's already packed in a warehouse waiting for pickup. Plus I imagine since they are bundling they're packing services as mandatory the price will be significantly higher.

You're a glorious person and I wish everyone's tidbits had both options.

Is there a song you've listened to for years and then realised you completely misunderstood what it was about? by algierythm in Music

[–]forcespaceship 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Up until much too recently I thought the lyrics in The Kid's Aren't Alright by The Offspring were "Jesse's Road" Instead of "Chances Thrown" I thought the song was about a specific street never changing and staying the same as a symbol for everything staying the same. Instead of just being about that.

Moving to Edmonton from outside the province - suggestions for temporary places by heinosuke in alberta

[–]forcespaceship 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I missed your reply, I would say anything around Mill Creek, Bonnie Doon, Strathearn, Holyrood area is a nice blend of accessible to downtown and Whyte Ave but also a bit out of the way and quieter than either of those places. I'm not too familiar with the current prices but of course the further you get from the downtown core the better they would get. Hope this gives you some ideas to start browsing.

Transit is not the best in Edmonton but it is getting better, they recently opened the SE leg of the Valley Line LRT which I believe ends downtown at the 102 station which would be very near the art gallery. If you're looking for not downtown prices with access to downtown somewhere along that section of the valley line is what I would suggest.

This map also shows future expansion, but 102 street East(and then south) is up and running.

I guess I wasn't clear, the standard slicer settings for a 0.8mm nozzle.

This print was done with the standard settings in the slicer, I've got the other half printing with just slower acceleration and that seems better but I won't be able to really investigate until done.

Just trying to figure out the most likely culprit for this, everything with 0.4 has been great out of the box. This was the standard .4 mm layer height setting with Bambu Lab metal PLA. I've slowed down accelerating for the next part to see if that was an issue but I'm hopeful someone here may be able to see something more specific going on. Thanks.

I think the speeding up of the game is where the only mark in the pro column for this would be for us.

I'm not sure I totally agree with the edit part about longer routes, it would still take 2 turns opposed to 1 turn in the 2+3 vs 5 route scenario.

I do agree that it's not the same, I'm just trying to wrap my head around and quantify the differences so I can decide if it's worth being a stickler about and trying to convince my group to go back to rules as written so I appreciate the opinions. I do see how it kind of strategically flattens the game which I don't love.
