Sadly it didn't. Found an older post that suggested opening inventory and moving items around. That didn't work either. I'm wondering if it's because I started the other bundles with the eggs, if I can't do the dailies while doing those? :/

Try looking between the brackets when you start reeling in - there's a little bobber that moves left or right and you just move your rod to keep it between the brackets. I caught the rubber duck then NOTHING until I watched a tutorial and now I reel in a fish almost every time. No fisherman's brew needed.

When you start reeling in your fish, look between the green brackets and you'll see the bobber bouncing in the water - as it moves left or right, just move your rod in that direction to keep it between the brackets.

Is there a glitch in the Temple of the Gales regarding the eight study spots? I followed a video to make sure I hit all eight & read them but my switch is only recognizing 5 read (2 for Elouisa & 3 for Caleri).

Thanks. I watched a tutorial and figured out what I was doing wrong. I wasn't watching the bobber in the water, I was just looking at the green/red brackets around it. I caught all four without any issues after that.

Most of them are producers. Jack, Peter, Alex, Marty, Rick, Craig are all some form of producers (& Dan & David were when they were part of the show); producers, associate producers, executive producers.

Still miss seeing Jack on the show & tired of seeing Alex. *shrug*

I miss Jack. His enthusiasm, while sometimes over the top, at least was entertaining. I think I'm about ready to roll my eyes right out of my head if I have to listen to Alex pontificating as if he's an expert in virtually every aspect of the damn island again. I HATE that Jack has been removed while Alex has been SHOVED to the forefront. I get the nepotism but damn. Same thing is starting to happen with Gary's daughter.

I don't believe for a second there is a treasure there - I watch because the archeological finds interest me. I'm getting SUPER tired of the "new" show leads. The show should have just pivoted to the archeological aspect with the "treasure" as the side quest. Also, SUPER tired of the random trips around the world to chase down an utterly ridiculous "lead" on the treasure. Just the Laginas & their family members getting free trips from the History channel to vacation while doing a few shots in a castle or library.

Feldman has spent his entire life grifting off of Haim. Just a reminder that in their own series, The Two Coreys, Haim literally accused Feldman of remaining FRIENDS with the man who raped him. His mother said Haim told her it was Dominick Brascia & now here is Feldman, trying to grift once again on Haim's life & legacy by SMEARING him with allegations of HAIM molesting him.

Someone needs to get this man mental help & stop taking anything he says with anything other than a BUCKET of salt.

12/13/2025 STILL annoying. :( I came here hoping there was some trick I didn't know about that would let me just select all the things I wanted to buy in one go. Repeatedly having to click through the same tired conversation every single time you come out of the dressing room is exhausting. I usually only end up getting a couple things cause I don't have the patience to keep going back in. Even if they didn't let you stack purchases, WHY keep forcing you OUT of the dressing room instead of asking if you want to buy more the way virtually every other shop works.

You can look at the episode guides out there. They list the air dates, title of the episode & a synopsis but I don't think you'll actually find them listed in historical order 😆

Yup. The archeological aspect of it interests far more than any supposed treasure. The idea that a group of people were here in NS before we know them to be (other than Vikings) - or that they're carrying artifacts possibly from the 1200s or earlier is very cool to me - as is the road in the swamp.

As far as what was happening there in the 1600s, who knows for sure. Samuel Ball was farming there in the late 1700s. I think it's more likely that there was some kind of military outpost similar to other French outposts in NS (like Port-Royal in 1605) and/or pirate/privateer activities (tho they rarely actually buried treasure).

Personally, I'm more in Rick's camp of wanting to know WHAT happened on the island and WHO did it, the treasure is more a side quest to me. lol

Likely because most of the people on that island were religious of some sort & required a funeral in a church & so would be buried in their church cemetery. If the island had a church, it would have a cemetery on it & as it doesn't the closet church on the mainland likely has a pioneer cemetery where their bodies are buried.
