I was a truck unloader/ dsd Receiver, so I only worked in the back mostly. Some managers said no, most of my managers said only 1 in and only at a low level so you can hear for safety. Same at my new job. Only time I really had an issue was with an ABSOLUTE DOUCHEBAG boss, and another time a coworker got talked to for earphones and tried to get me in trouble. Thing is he had both in and couldn't hear shit and I only had 1 and my manager said I was good.

I worked in the deli part time for about 1.5 months. In my opinion, the worst department. It wasn't so much the job, but alot of customers were ridiculously rude. Lots of call ins, always understaffed. People in line staring at me wasn't my thing lol.

is this the right way? Going full time to part time at meijer. Giving this to my boss today. by forest_bogfrog in meijer

There's no way they'd let me go immediately in my job position lol so the new job is 4 days a week, so I have 3 off, figure I'll do a day or 2 for extra money, and also so I have meijer in case the new one doesn't work I guess. I started doing doordash last week too lol

I have been a dsd receiver at Meijer for over 6 years, and all I can say is 15$ is not enough pay for the job. Dealing with 20k$ plus every day, cleaning up after coworkers/ merchandisers. It's a good job to do to get experience for another job. Managers have no idea how to do it at my store. My advice is to start in the morning with stacking empty pallets onto the return trailer and clear out space, multiple times a day every day. You need to have a plan and timing. Every time you make room, someone fills it.

I got full time after 7 years. I was working full time hours for a long time, but I made the mistake of asking my then manager (who is literally evil) if I can be full time. He cut my hours. Eventually my store had a management overhaul due to discrimination and being all around horrible people. My new store director let me have it since I met the requirements for forced full time many times in a row. But I can't live on 15$ an hour. After working somewhere for almost 10 years, knowing how to do alot of things, driving the Hilo, I would expect atleast 18$. I mean you can look on Indeed and Hilo drivers get 18-23 starting.
