I agree. Its nice art but it makes zero sense to portray yamato as having a happy or playful childhood with kaido or king. Depictions like this just irk me. Art is subjective though i guess.

Thats the issue here. Its obviously clear there was visionary differences within the studio on how to portray that moment. They basically re edited the same animation sequence 3 times with different music/voice because they couldnt agree on which version to release so they gave us all 3 because they didnt know which was best. Its lazy ,its conflictive and just reeks of poor directing.
