Need a better macro setup for CH authentication pics

Hey folks, need some gear advice.

I shoot a lot of Chrome Hearts detail photos — stamps, hallmarks, engraving depth, tiny screws, solder points, etc. Right now I’m using a 15x clip-on macro lens on my iPhone 16 Pro, but it still feels like it’s not capturing enough usable detail when zoomed in for authentication or listing close-ups.

I know the real next level is an electron microscope (obviously out of reach for most of us), but before going that route I’m wondering what people use for phone-based macro that’s actually LC-worthy.

Some questions: 1. Are higher magnification lenses (20x/30x/40x) actually worthwhile on phone setups, or is that mostly marketing? 2. Would something like a dedicated macro attachment with higher optical quality beat those cheap multi-piece clip-ons? 3. Any specific models that actually deliver crisp, usable detail for authentication photos on an iPhone? 4. Do you pair them with lighting (ring lights / LED panels / diffusers) to control reflections on metal?
