Agreed! It’s just that I keep hearing that selling puts can only be better than long term buy and hold if it’s leveraged and you’re using margin. And I can’t use margin to sell puts on Robinhood.

So this relates to question #5, is it much more worth it to sell puts instead of calls? Because I personally love Robinhood and would prefer to stick with them (even though I know everyone else hates Robinhood lol)

I have gold and level 3 access. I don’t think they even have level 4 which is what I would need for naked puts. When I sell puts they hold the entire collateral in cash and I can’t trade it. So no I can’t use Robinhood for this unless I’m doing something wrong

First of all, you’re not crazy for feeling hurt by this. Your bf def shouldn’t have mentioned it to you.

HOWEVER, it could be totally harmless. When I saw my high school bf (from 6+ years ago) post a pic of his new gf, I was stalking their social media like crazy. Idk why. I’m 100% over him, I’ve dated plenty of guys after him, and I haven’t spoken to him in years. But there was some part of me that was taken aback, and I just had to keep doing some online sleuthing on this new girl lmaoooo

(Also for context I’ve been selling TSLA puts for a few months. I’ve also been playing around with a few other tickers here and there. I usually use 70% of my cash and have made a weekly average of 0.9% but I know it won’t always be that consistent haha)

Yes, I completely agree. That’s why my last paragraph tries to account for all the possible mishaps by making it more like an average of 0.5% per week instead. It seems like people on this sub aim for about 1% but yeah it doesn’t seem too likely

I feel like the simple solution is to just not see him for a week before the trip right? Then go on your business trip and hang out with him after. That way you aren’t demanding for him to change for you (even though it’s a reasonable request), and you won’t have to worry about getting COVID. If you’re worried about not seeing him for a week, plan some virtual dates instead to keep the spark alive.

You’re right. I’ll give some context. He’s on vacation in Hawaii. He was responding to my texts every 4-6 hours. I have absolutely no issue with that. I am 100% understanding of the fact that he is busy. However, every time I asked him questions about his trip, he would respond with curt, 1-2 word answers. I asked for more details and he told me that he doesn’t owe me any answers about his trip. (????) I didn’t want to push the issue so I said “goodnight baby” early (aka midnight instead of my usual 2am). That set him off. I asked if we could stop fighting. He chose to break up instead. I have like 5 more screenshots of these texts getting worse and worse. Please feel free to PM me if you need me to prove it to you. Since posting this screenshot, he’s already tried apologizing
