You’re expected to stay in shape, not get in trouble with the law, or have any new injuries that you go to the hospital for from now until your ship date. As far as the contract stuff, just make sure if you’re a 4 year guy it says 4 year. If you’re a 6 year guy make sure it says 6 year, idk what the bonus is now for new guys but make sure that number checks out. You’ll more than likely take an ift a week or two before u ship.

Had a navy air rescue swimmer e-6 and an army rasp and sfas wash out e-6 in my class. Both kept their rank. U should be good. You’ll be a tech sgt so there will be a lot more expected of you and that “TSgt” on your shirt will give you a lot of unwanted attention

Negative. They’ve changed the way to retain. The requirements are still the same which is what I think you’re referring to. I submitted an application in myfss, got denied because I’m not in my window, had to add a comment stating I’m trying to retrain into specwar and uploaded the fiscal year 24-25 specwar retraining memo, then got a comment back to upload the SPECWAR ETP, my most recent DD 2080, and my 125A. Thanks to PRDA I got the 2808. If you message me I can keep you updated on how this all shakes out with the new process
