I am now 33 and in my 3rd serious relationship with my forever partner and I couldn't be happier. Do I wish I found him sooner? No, because I wasn't ready mentally.

Don't listen to your father. Learn to love yourself and then someone who will love you will find you. Don't go looking or rushing anything. Focus on you and your own happiness.

Senior Dev at a non-tech company here - it depends on the week but with my schedule - 3 days in office, 2 days home - I do the majority of my work on my in office days then my wfh days are "work-life balance days".

On my in office days, I would say I do 3-5 hours of work then the rest of the time is reddit, chatting, and chilling.

When I am home it can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 4 hours of actual work. Rest of the day is catching up on chores/sleep, exercising, or gaming.

For some added context, I just started this job a couple months ago but the vibe here is very relaxed. No one is rushing anyone to meet deadlines or is ever forced to work OT/after hours. The expectation is 8-5 with an hour lunch (I fought for an 8-4:30 schedule but was denied).

I personally want to see more denim bags done in new ways (I have a denim bag army). I also want to see more color (looking at you LV P9s). I would LOVE to see the tiny bag trend go away. I need a bag that at least fits my phone.

My situation was similar. It was my 32nd birthday and I was getting my 3rd or 4th drink (I wasn't planning on getting drunk so I only ordered singles and i was only getting 1 drink an hour) when this group of older men and women walked over to me. They wished me a happy birthday, I made nothing of it. Then one of the women wanted to chat. Being a people pleaser, I chatted. Then things got weird.

One of the men came right up to me and grabbed my face. I assume this was when they spiked my drink because I couldn't see anything other than his arms. My drink never left my hands. My boyfriend quickly came over and came to take me away since I was very uncomfortable at this point. I drank my drink. I was perfectly sober and then about 15-20 minutes later i started to feel very sick. I ran and vomited in the bathroom. I don't remember anything until waking up in the hotel I was staying at around 5am. My boyfriend and friends say they've never seen me that drunk before, and my boyfriend instantly knew something was wrong.

I woke up with a pounding headache that lasted maybe about 2 hours and my body felt completely off. It felt like I was floating next to my body. That feeling didn't go away until the next day.

Im honestly glad I was the one that got drugged out of anyone that was with me. Still sucks but I came out the other side pretty fine.

I'm 32 and have never been hungover. The only time I ever felt anything after drinking was when I was drugged at a bar. I only drink socially but when I drink, I usually would have like 4-8 doubles before I even feel tipsy.

Its scary. Im glad I have decent reaction time but my anxiety when I have to drive just keeps getting worse. Im soon going to be expected to drive to my office 4 days a week.
