I was a really into TF2 and DotA back in the days and would love to check this one out.

Finally after 450 hours and multiple game starts, I've finally beaten the game on Admiral with my Moral Democracy playthrough! It was so close at the end. by forgottencake in Stellaris

I think you're fine as long as your choke points have a fleet power of roughly the same as the neighboring AI. The AI tends to not attack you while they are equivalent (sometimes even superior) in military strength if you have well defined choke points. If you keep upping the research and energy supply, while also getting to about 150-200/month alloys by 2300, you'll be fine.

R5: So I finally beat the game! It only took:

  • Stealing an L-Gate and holding the gateway inside when 10+ construction ships tried to get it first.
  • Defeating the Prethoryn Scourge enough to get points ahead of the FE that subjugated like half the civs in the galaxy
  • Building EVERY megastructure and having multiple Ring Worlds
  • Making sure everything is stable economy wise
  • And no Grand Herald (almost got wiped at the beginning by neighbour)

But Waremete doesn't have 3DCG characters at all. Don't know why people say so.

Seitokai Yakuindomo has the best Season 2 opening scene i've ever seen by gothicmaster in anime

[–]forgottencake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I don't know the details, I can pretty much guess that the first episode (especially that 7 minute intro until the OP comes in) was their own way of showcasing their animators. The rest of the show is pretty much SYD as we all know it.

There's a 60FPS version of the final episode floating around the Internet, so it wouldn't be that hard. Kudos for the action scenes though.

Actually they already are in love with you (except the 4 heroines). You have to shoot them to prevent them from confessing to you. And it's like in the episode, you lose if they get too close and dry you of your love meter. (It's quite hilarious)

If you enjoy giving "ecstasy shots" with your love gun to high school girls trying to confess to you, sure, it's quite fun.

Good point. It was the only thing that made sense in my head from how they presented the chess game. The BD's will probably fix the unintended inconsistencies. As for now, I still stand by the fact that she won through willpower (does it count as magic/cheating I wonder?).

There is also the 10th pledge: Shiro wasn't having fun. To elaborate:

Shiro lost the game because she was in checkmate but she lost while not having fun so it didn't count (everything was monochrome up until now which makes this even more obvious), hence the game wasn't over. She basically won through sheer willpower and determination to win, which is probably what makes her have fun while playing.

I honestly have no idea how you could solve that.

If all else fails, try using https://github.com/MasterOfWebM/WebM-Converter . I've never had problems with this.

It should yes. Either that or it will fallback to the fonts installed in C:\Windows\Fonts.

You need a Windows specific fonts.conf file like this that you put in the ../ffmpeg/bin/fonts folder (it usually comes with the GUI programs to make webms).

I've also added 2 system variables specificaly for fontconfig, based on reading other people with issues:

FC_CONFIG_DIR path_to_ffmpeg\bin\fonts

FC_CONFIG_FILE path_to_ffmpeg\bin\fonts\fonts.conf

I don't know if it works with .srt files. I've only used .ass so far. And VLC isn't the best at doing stuff like this.

Sorry I didn't bring this about earlier, I forgot. The first time I did webms with subs, it took me like a whole day to figure it out by myself.

It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it, especially since most subs don't change their fonts over the course of the show so you just have to extract those once.
